HIGHLY Recommend Freeman Motor. \r Best car buying experience I've found. No price haggling, debating options, and dodging salesmen. We were dealt with professionally and courteously in all 4 times we visited. We weren't pushed and they continually answered our questions and accomodated our needs. They even gave us a reasonable trade-in price for my old car.\r \r We worked with Jason who was very honest and responsive to our questions. \r \r The greatest part is we got the car we've been looking for - after over a year of looking for a Mercedes E350 with just the right options. LEMONS! Was told car passed their multi-point inspection only to find out 2 weeks later car needed new tires, alignment, brakes, and blower motor. Tried contacting Freeman about it and they just hung up the phone on me. WORST DEALER EVER! more

I bought a 2009 E350 with 20k miles from Freeman Motors in Feb 2011, with the assurance by Freeman that the 20k service had be done. It turns out the service had not been done and the oil had never been changed in the car. I did not discover this until the car had 30k and it cost me $1600 to get the car fixed. Freeman took no responsibility and so beware what their smiles hid in their cars. They were dishonest and did not take responsibility for their errors. John Rall more

I traded in two cars for two new cars at the beginning of 2011. My experience was the best auto buying situation I have ever encountered in my 36 years of buying vehicles. Eric Freeman and his staff were professional, efficient, honest, and they had excellent upscale inventory. I would highly recommend Freeman Motor Company. They make sure you are satisfied and made things right for me, even after the sale. It's smart business to have this approach, creating long term customers like myself. We've recently bought a 2009 Mercedes from Freeman Motors and would like to share our experience.We are seniors so between us have lots of car buying experience. Usually it has been less than great fun what with the games dealers play, etc... I had heard from a close friend about a dealer on Macadam Ave. that had a somewhat different business model and who specialized in German autos so decided to check him out. The first visit was with my friend last Spring and I was surprised that most of the inventory, about 60 cars, was inside under cover and very well lighted. Second surprise was that no one followed us around asking ""are you ready to buy?"" Instead, we were simply greeted and told if we had any questions, to please ask. I was impressed with the cleanliness and overall quality, not to mention what seemed like good pricing. A very good selection of Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW and a few others. Not having an immediate need for a car at that time , we left. Fast forward to a few weeks ago when it became time to replace my wife's Honda CR-V, so we started looking for a new one, having had mostly Hondas for the past 20 years. I contacted a few dealers, got a lot of runaround, especially from Wilsonville Honda, so as I was wandering around town one day decided to swing by Freeman's to see if they had anything interesting. Sure enough, I found a 2009 Mercedes C300 at a very affordable price that looked new. Never imagining Susan would every consider anything besides Honda I asked her to go to Freeman and check this nice little sedan out. She did and right after, called me and said she was ""head over heels"" with the car. I went down the next day, contacted Bill Michener and after a brief negotiation purchased the car. Bill never put any pressure on, just gave me the keys and let me take it for a test drive. I also had called Dennis at Freeman's service facility to find out about their capabilities just to make sure our car would have a ""home"". He represented Freeman very well and I will use this facility as needed. They have 6 technicians and go thru each car before it's put on the display floor. This dealership sold us a car that should have been donated to someone for free. It was breaking down within months of our purchase and they did nothing but rack up Service Department revenue as a result. The owner, Eric, is great at making his crappy broke down car inventory feel like your bad luck. Do yourself a favor: if you are looking for a luxury German car, don't go to Freeman. We just traded in our car from their dealership for another from a huge Portland dealership and are already excited for the day when we can look back and laugh at our horrific experience at Freeman Motor Company. more

I had a terrible experience with Freeman and would never recommend this dealership to anyone. The owner, Eric, is incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. Pros: Good car selection and no pressure browsing Cons: Unprofessional and disorganized staff Bottom line: I would never recommended this dealership to anyone. We bought our Mercedes S430 1 year ago. We love it & have had no problems. It only had 52K miles & still drives like new. We nearly bought the same model, year & color with 153K miles from another dealer for the same price! Marshall was great to work with & we will definitely be back. Bought my last 4 cars here, all late model Mercedes; S500, AMG CLK, E430, 450SL. I have never had an issue with taking the cars to a shop for checks. I now have over 25K on the S500 with only oil and tires. Test drove a half dozen other BMW, MB and Audi while deciding and Freeman never pushed for closure. Every buying experience was a pleasure from walking in the door to driving off the lot. Freeman Motors is THE place to go to check out used but good quality European vehicles. I purchased a 2003 Mini Cooper S from Freeman Motor Co., and it was the best buying experience ever. They gave me and my two friends Starbucks cards, and when we returned, all the paperwork was ready to go. We had a flat tire on the way home, and Eric Freeman paid for the repairs. I purchased a Porsche 911 Cabriolet from Freeman about a month ago. I have to say, it was one of the best experiences buying a car I've ever had. I hate shopping for cars and the pressure from sales people. Freeman didn't have any of that. A big plus was the huge indoor showroom. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat. It's hard to find a car dealer that says what he means and means what he says. Eric Freeman and his staff and Freeman Motor are the real thing - a throwback to the days when you could go on a guy's handshake and his word. I had a complicated transaction which included shipping a car, sight unseen, to the east coast. Eric gave me his word on a few things and when I needed to ask him to step in and make something right, he did so without hesitation. The car was, and is, fantastic. I bought a gently used car with low miles from Freeman recently. I had shopped around a lot both at other dealerships (where a lot of my time was wasted) and online, and knew exactly what I needed to pay for this car. My experience couldn't have been easier and more low-key. I found it online listed at Freeman and went over to test drive it. I really only made a half-hearted attempt to bargain the price down, as the first price given was an awesome deal and I knew it. I dealt with one person only--Marshall--and was so happy to see that we didn't have to play the usual dealer games of back and forth, talking to three managers, wearing the customer down, etc. My husband and I would go back in a heartbeat to shop again, but we have such a great car, it'll be awhile!
