Drove like a Dream! 7/25/2008

I needed a car fast but I didn't want the hassle that goes with the typical process. I stopped into Freeman on recommendation from a friend and felt immediately at ease. There was a nice selection but not so many I felt overwhlemed. The prices were so good it was actually FUN to shop! The salesman was chill and let me take my time. I didn't know much about Saabs but he provided good information -- to my surprise I was more pleased in the following days--the car drives like a DREAM!! Excellent Car Deal 7/10/2008

Purchased a Jaguar on June 10, 2008 via EBay from Freeman Motors. Clean deal and honest salesman, Marshall, did a walk around on the phone regarding condition of car prior to purchase. Gave an accurate description of all issues. Bought our first car this way and very pleased with the deal, salesman and the car. We love our Jaguar. Pros: No high pressure, clean deal and no issues with vehicle. Cons: They need more room for vehicles. more

Do you homework and be an intelligent car buyer 6/11/2008

I have visited both Freeman locations several times over the past couple of years. I do appreciate that Freeman lets you shop without high pressure salesman bugging you while your looking but I have also come to the conclusion that you get what you pay for and Freeman is not in the market of selling top quality cars. I test drove several cars for sale at Freeman that needed significant work to be up to what I consider to be acceptable quality. Sure they have good prices but do you really want to skimp when buying a high priced luxury car? Do yourself a favor and have a professional inspection done prior to buying your car if you're considering Freeman...it's just common sense in my book. I have called several mechanics around town and the going rate for a decent inspection seems to be about $150. Seems like cheap insurance to me!! Make sure to hire an inspector that checks the cars mechanics and the cars frame to make sure the car was not involved in a prior accident. I have been warned that you can't trust Carfax reports to be 100% accurate so it's best to have the frame inspected in addition to the mechanics. Just my two cents.... Pros: They let you shop without the high pressure and they have a large selection Cons: Quality is Poor more

Great quality used European cars 5/22/2008

I recently purchased a 2000 Volvo V70SE from Freeman Motors and had another great experience. This is the second car I have purchased from them. They sell high quality European cars at wholesale prices. The entire experience is very informal and relaxed and I was very satisfied with the car and the deal. I purchased an Audi A4 from Freeman Motor Company in March 2007 from the Bend location. My car is beautiful and I got an excellent deal on it. I love this car. It is in excellent condition and has low miles. I had the car checked out pre-sale by an Audi mechanic who gave the car rave reviews. I could not have gotten a better deal anywhere else. Even private owners were asking higher prices for the same car. The staff were very professional, friendly, and honest. They did not pressure me in any way, and were patient with me throughout the entire loan process. I would recommend Freeman Motor company to any of my family or friends. Pros: Indoor showroom more

Nice vehicle, very good buying experience 3/27/2008

I had never purchased from Freeman Motor Company before but found the exact vehicle (2003 BMW 325iT) I wanted with low miles on their website. The whole experience was low key, easy and straightforward. Pricing was excellent, advice on mechanics and pre-purchase inspection was helpful, and the salesperson was simply a nice young guy who loved cars. Best car buying experience I have ever had 3/11/2008

When purchasing a car you look for 3 things: the right car, at the right price, from the right dealer. Freeman Motors earns 5 stars in each of these categories. I was quite impressed by their selection and prices on used European luxury vehicles. Eric and Marshall are champs. In the short time since purchasing my car from them, I have referred several people and they too were impressed. I'm a college student just starting out pre-med and needed a reliable car. I just happened to be driving by Freeman Motors and stopped in. Everyone was so willing to help me find not only a good car, but were interested in trying to find a good price. I had no credit due to young age and they worked for a long time trying to find a bank for me to get a loan from. The salesmen are very knowledgeable and friendly. I have recommended many people to go here, including my brother and his wife who recently had a baby. The next time I need a car I will be going there! Pros: The service was excellent Cons: Doesn't have tons of cars but it's not a big deal if you know generally what you want more

Best Car Buying Experience in Portland! :) 2/21/2008

My husband and I were so impressed by the selection and service at Freeman Motor Co. We are from eastern Oregon, saw a car that we liked online, we were only in town for one day and they happened to be closed. We called their service department and they accomadated us, the owner even came in to do our paper work! I have read other reviews about not being able to take the car to a mechanic, I am not sure if that is true, but for us it was not needed! Their mechanic inspected the car with my husband, put it up in the air and checked everything. The mechanic found a small leak (due to basic wear and tear), he pointed it out to us and said they would fix it! I am so thankful, my car was a great deal! We will definitely go back to Freeman Motor Co. to purchase our next car! Pros: Great Service, Owner was onsite! more

The Best car buying experience ever! 1/10/2008

My son found this car on the internet. The deal seemed too good to be true. It seemed like a great deal and the car looked to be in great condition but really, without your mechanic there-how do you know? Well, our mechanic was totally jealous that we found such a great car for such a low price! It checked out with nothing wrong but 1 bulb needed replacing. There was no pressure, no going back and forth. We will absolutely go to their website first if we are ever in need of another car. Highly recommended from this family! Very Informative and Good Customer service 1/3/2008

I came in on a thursday when they were ready to close, they stayed late even though I told them I wasn't ready to buy. I brought my wife back the following Saturday and bought a Saab that I have never been happier with. I have had only two problems with the car, and both have been resolved by Freeman. I've never had a car-buying experience like this! I didn't receive ANY pressure from the salesman to purchase a car. I was able to browse their selection on-line before ever setting foot on their lot. There website is so complete, you are able to get a good feel for the vehicles before you ever visit their showroom. The prices are fabulous and they are posted on the vehicles! Superior service and great products! 12/19/2007

I've purchased two fine vehicles from Freeman in the past two years and I will continue to be a repeat customer. I also highly recommend Freeman to anyone I've run into that is looking to purchase a fine automobile. Their staff is consistent, I've witnessed very low, if any turnover whatsoever. Their finance department has done an excellent job of delivering on what they've promised every time. The Freeman website is also outstanding. I can get a good feel for a vehicle due to the number of photos they provide and I'm able to narrow my search down considerably when I decide to go in for a test drive. Finally, I want to comment that their prices are absolutely rock bottom for the quality that is offered there. Pros: Selection, service, willing to accomodate Cons: Not open every day more

Affordable Quality & Positive Transaction Experience 12/4/2007

I highly recommend Freeman Motor company. We have had 5 transactions with them so far, and we're looking forward to doing more business with them in the future. With the amount of miles I drive each year, it just doesn't make sense to purchase a new luxury vehicle when I can get the same quality and style for much less in a gently used luxury vehicle from Freeman. Whenever I'm asked for a referral, I always send my friends, family & even clients to Freeman BEFORE they go to the dealership for a new luxury vehicle, and I'm always being thanked for passing along the recommendation. We bought our 2003 Audi A4 from Freeman Motors last July and could not be happier with our purchase. My husband had researched for months and hadn't found a car with lower miles, in such good condition, as well as being priced so competitively! Every vehicle on their lot was impressive, all used European imports in great condition and great prices. We love the no pressure philosophy and I have already decided that when I'm ready for another car, I will go right back. We have spread the word! more
