Best

This is about the best you can get when it comes to burritos. There are things you have to consider when creating your burrito at these types of places. LESS IS MORE. I also us...

Worst

Freebirds SUCK if u ask me! They give the smallest portion possible and compared to Bullritos-well there really isn't any comparison.

Best Burritos Ever! 3/31/2004

Freebirds is the most amazing burrito experience you will ever have. Forget the lesser knock offs (Chipotle, I'm looking in your direction), Freebirds tops them all. Better ingredients, wider variety, cooler employees. Save the Bird, Eat a Monster! Pros: Massive burritos, Cool Atmosphere, Delicious! more

Worth a trip to see the staff 8/22/2003

Right by the office. We actually go in to play ""count the peircings on the server"". Very interesting staff but they are always super nice and quick!!! Food is good for a quick lunch, not worth a dinner trip unless your still in college or pregant having a craving. Healthy options with the Wheat Tortilla and chicken breast. Pros: service, food, cost Cons: long line, no chips more

Just GREAT! 4/23/2003

Definately a place for those young at heart! And once your done you can go next door to Amy's for some wonderful ice cream - that's if you have room! Pros: worth your money, delicious Cons: sometimes crowded more

great food! 4/20/2003

This place reminds me of my college days in Austin.. The burritos are huge and yummy.. Its a great place to chill with your friends and have dinner with leftovers for a late nite snack later! more

Always a treat! 2/12/2003

I hope this place catches on and they create more Freebirds locations. The first time I went was in College Station and I was thrilled when they opened in Houston. One Super Monster burrito can last 3 meals! The best part is YOU choose what goes in your burrito. The service is first class. The ingrediants are always fresh and there are many to choose from. Freebirds never disappoints! Call ahead during lunch hour. Truly the best burrito in the world. Pros: Fresh ingrediants, Made to order, Friendly employees Cons: Not enough locations, Can't eat there daily more

Addictive 2/7/2003

Have one and you're hooked. Awsome, cheep food that fills you up and makes you lazy. Great for one of those unproductive days when you want to get stuffed and watch t.v. Pros: affordable, tasty, selection more

Awesome Burritos 1/29/2003

If you haven't eaten at Freebird's than you're missing out. They are fabulous and your food is made while you wait. Try it out...it's great the day after you gone out!! more

Eat a Monster! 1/29/2003

Fantastic eats, great prices! Great variety, including tacos and quesadillas in addition to their traditional burritos. Perfect atmosphere for pre or post-game dining. more

Tasty and Filling 1/24/2003

When you order a ""medium"" burrito here, you are still getting a gigantic burrito filled with meats and just about anything else you could want. It's comparable to Chipotle and Mission but I prefer Freebird's a little bit more. I loved every bite. But when are the margaritas coming? Pros: Good food..., and lots of it Cons: No liquor license yet, (but it's coming) more

So so 1/18/2003

I went expecting a lot and it really disappointed. It was not bad, but I prefer Chipotle Cons: Crowded more

Sooo good 11/21/2002

The food really is great. The BBQ sauce is unbelievable. They could use more vegetable selections, though, but what they do offer is ""vegetarian friendly."" I'm not sure this one is as good as the ones in College Station. Pros: inexpensive, good parking, no smoking more

Oh no, Its a burritto 11/11/2002

I Love Free Birds. I love it so much That 5 friends of mine and I drove out to college station just to eat there. Then later when we got there we figured out that they built a free birds in our area. But it was still fun. And the food was delicious! more

Dry Food 11/11/2002

Good food. Too many college-type people. Very young clientele. Also needs queso. They don't have any melted cheese. This makes the burritos taste dry if you don't eat beans. more

An Aggie Staple 11/7/2002

I've searched the world over for a burrito that even comes close to a Freebirds and haven't found a thing. Every Aggie knows that when you need a Freebirds, you have to have one. Thank goodness you don't have to go all the way to College Station anymore. Pros: Cheap, Convenient more

bomb's away! 10/16/2002

these burritos are the bomb for your hunger. easy to over eat at freebirds. don't forget to make some tinfoil art with the wrapper. Pros: inexpensive, good parking, good selection more

good food 10/3/2002

YUM!!! 10/3/2002

If you haven't had a Freebird's burrito yet, where have you been?!?! These things are the best cheap meal in town. Pros: delicious, large portions, affordable more

college atmosphere 10/3/2002

Build more, they will come. This is the Hot Spot for college age, give or take a few years, kids. Pros: you get what you ask, staff willing to help, prices are reasonable Cons: only one in Houston, the on is 50 miles aw, the lines can be long more

Freebirds has arrived - finally 8/30/2002

I was so tired of driving to College Station to get the best burrito in Texas. It is a fun, friendly atmosphere with the biggest burritos you have ever eaten. Be careful of the extremely hot sauce...it is hot, hot, hot! Be prepared to eat a lot of food or share with friends! It is worth the wait (which goes very quickly)...make new friends while in line!!! Pros: everything about it! more

WHOOP! 8/21/2002

Freebirds is awesome! It's so nice to be able to drive only 30 minutes for a freebirds burrito rather that 2 hours. Plus the line isn't a mile long! more
