Good: Close location. Bad: Dr. Sealock went so fast I wonder how thorough the exam was. He seemed to be in too much of a hurry to care about the patient. Seems he wanted to get the patient in and out as quickly as possible just to make money.. Improvements: They could at least return phone calls.. Other: This fast treatment was noticed on more than one occasion. I was refused access to him, or even leave a voice message, 5 times. We switched to another clinic.. more

Excellent care with Dr. Sealock 4/8/2010

Three of my children were having learning issues. Dr. Sealock diagnosed a disorder which called for eye therapy. After 5-6 months of therapy and exercises, the problem was solved. One of my daughters had a Kind. reading level in 3rd grade. After therapy was complete not only did she catch up with her class but she tested beyond her grade level. The other two did well also, though they were not as far behind. all three continued to do well in school after that. I had been to a few doctors before then and no one had any suggestions or help. I am very grateful to Dr. Sealock and his wisdom and for making eye therapy affordable. more

Dont go here 7/27/2009

The young lady there did not know how to work the equipment during the eye test, I was there almost an hour and a half. The front desk woman was rude and looked angry the whole time I waited. The doctors are nice but I was sent for follow up appointments with an eye specialist the doctor said he could recommend since they were "friends" and collegues until I finally went to my own doctor who said absolutely nothing was wrong..insurance bilking??! By the way, nobody has the right to criticize someone else's review until they were there at the exact same time and saw it. Things can change, I was there years ago and they were terrible, went recently, and the location was upgraded and looked better but still slow and staffed by people that were easily confused and couldn't turn on the machines. more

Definitely NOT a 1 star experience 7/26/2009

Other reviewers are saying they went in for a 10 minute eye check up, which is the most unrealistic expectation I've heard in a while. Granted the experience was lengthy for me (probably about an hour and a hslf), the two "young and inexperienced" girls who helped me were very friendly and professional (I'm also a 21 year old guy with no age stereotyping such as the person in the other review). My eye doctor was friendly and quick and to the point in the exam as well. All in all, they do provided quality service but at a very slow rate. I think they have just spread themselves a little thin by scheduling too many appointments at once. I do agree with the commission style eyeglass frame selling though. The man who helped me was very friendly, but since I've worked in sales, I got the strong feeling that the second I started looking at inexpensive frames I'd get a nagging sensation from him to upgrade. But seriously, a 1 star review? That's just ridiculous. Maybe if they poked you in the eye or something, but if they did their job, even slowly, they deserve at least a 3. more

A terrible place to go 7/18/2007

Every eye doctor I have ever been to has had me in and out within a reasonable amount of time, I used to be able to get in and out of the eye doctor on a lunch break. Thankfully I had the entire day off when I visited Four Seasons Eye Care because I needed it. I was put in an exam room (after arriving 10 minutes early for my appointment and sitting in the waiting room until fifteen minutes AFTER my appointment time) and left in the exam room for 18 minutes until a teenage looking girl brought me into another room "tests" and then couldn't get the machines that give the test to work. Another young and unprofessional girl then brought be back to the exam room until she could fix the machines and give me the tests. I was 45 minutes past my initial exam time before the eye doctor even came into my room, and then advised me that his assistants forgot to have me take my contacts out. He then gave me the items needed to take my contacts out and told me to do it and he would be right back...but didn't return for about 10 minutes. He gave me a 10 minute exam and then advised one of his assistants would be "right in" to go over costs and insurance information. After another 10 minute was for that to happen I simply left on my own...I wasn't about to go into my second hour there and it was fast approaching. I was there for over 90 minutes for a 10 minute exam! My husband had a VERY SIMILAR experience but he was only there for 1 hour and ten minutes for a 10 minute exam. For both my husband and I they screwed up our insurance after taking copies of our insurance cards and then billed us. Plus they tried to get my husband to pay for his glasses and contacts until I explained his insurance plan. They argued with me that I was wrong and we ended up paying....30 minutes later I got a call with an apology that they were wrong and they refunded my credit card. These people work with the same 3 eye insurance carriers/plans all day every day and can't even get them right! I knew more than they did. Plus the guy that sold my husband his frames was pushy and tried to push my husband into buying frames that were too expensive and had every excuse in the book for why the $90 frames he liked (that were good enough for them to sell) were not good enough for him. I felt like he was working on commission! Then he tried to add all these extra charges until I finally told him to stop...both of our experiences were unbelievably unprofessional and time consuming, not to mention irritating! more

customer service and orgnaization of business questionable 3/16/2006

I absolutely love the Optometrists at Four Seasons. They are very thorough and keep your needs in check. The rest of the business is questionable. I spent WEEKS trying to get in to get my contacts only to keep finding out that the ONE person that does this is on vacation or has the day off, etc. There seemed to be no one else that could take over for her. I finally told them to send back the contacts only to get a letter in the mail for collections. Ooops, they forgot to send them back and just assumed I bailed on them. extremely frustrating! If you want a great Optometrist come here, but buy yout glasses/contacts somewhere else. more
