Every eye doctor I have ever been to has had me in and out within a reasonable amount of time, I used to be able to get in and out of the eye doctor on a lunch break. Thankfully I had the entire day off when I visited Four Seasons Eye Care because I needed it. I was put in an exam room (after arriving 10 minutes early for my appointment and sitting in the waiting room until fifteen minutes AFTER my appointment time) and left in the exam room for 18 minutes until a teenage looking girl brought me into another room "tests" and then couldn't get the machines that give the test to work. Another young and unprofessional girl then brought be back to the exam room until she could fix the machines and give me the tests. I was 45 minutes past my initial exam time before the eye doctor even came into my room, and then advised me that his assistants forgot to have me take my contacts out. He then gave me the items needed to take my contacts out and told me to do it and he would be right back...but didn't return for about 10 minutes. He gave me a 10 minute exam and then advised one of his assistants would be "right in" to go over costs and insurance information. After another 10 minute was for that to happen I simply left on my own...I wasn't about to go into my second hour there and it was fast approaching. I was there for over 90 minutes for a 10 minute exam! My husband had a VERY SIMILAR experience but he was only there for 1 hour and ten minutes for a 10 minute exam. For both my husband and I they screwed up our insurance after taking copies of our insurance cards and then billed us. Plus they tried to get my husband to pay for his glasses and contacts until I explained his insurance plan. They argued with me that I was wrong and we ended up paying....30 minutes later I got a call with an apology that they were wrong and they refunded my credit card. These people work with the same 3 eye insurance carriers/plans all day every day and can't even get them right! I knew more than they did. Plus the guy that sold my husband his frames was pushy and tried to push my husband into buying frames that were too expensive and had every excuse in the book for why the $90 frames he liked (that were good enough for them to sell) were not good enough for him. I felt like he was working on commission! Then he tried to add all these extra charges until I finally told him to stop...both of our experiences were unbelievably unprofessional and time consuming, not to mention irritating!
