I am a 56-year-old man who just four days ago had Thermage to tighten the skin of my face and neck, laser-liposuction of the jowls, and Intense Pulsed Light laser treatment to remove discoloration and fine lines of the face and neck, all performed in a single session by Dr. Rahimi. The results are already very gratifying despite some minor normal swelling at the jawline. These procedures were conducted under light oral anesthesia with a local numbing agent. I remember his explaining each step to me as the session proceeded and recall some sensation of heat during the Thermage phase, but I felt absolutely no significant discomfort. As a veteran of facial plastic surgery in the 1990's, I was grateful not to have to deal with the risk of general anesthesia, as the good doctor is an expert practitioner of safe ""light and local"" pain prevention and relief. His fee was very reasonable, and the nicest part has been how kind and patient he and his staff have been from the first consultation, and how well taken care of one feels in their hands. Dr. Rahimi obviously loves his work and exudes a calm professional competence; I cannot speak highly enough of him and his practice.
