Worst

Prices are higher than most. I my situation, I was told that I needed struts and it would $950.00 and a tuneup for $400.00. I brought the car to the dealer and was charged $480.00...

Highly Recommended! 1/11/2012

It's hard to find quality service and trustworthy mechanics, but Family Auto Service has it all. My family has been bringing our cars to Family Auto for years and has never been disappointed. We've had much better experiences at Family Auto than at the Pepboys across the street. For quick, great service I'd highly recommend Family Auto Service. more

WE'VE BEEN A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMERS SINCE THE PLACE OPENED UP IN 1992.OUR CARS LASTED/IS LASTING LONGER BECAUSE OF THEIR SERVICES.ACTUALLY ONE OF OUR FORMER CAR THEY PROVIDED SERVICE,IS STILL RUNNING WELL EVEN AT MORE THAN 220,000 MILES ON IT ALREADY. more

Helpful with good advice, good service when needed, 1/5/2012

Family Auto is accommodating when we need to fit service into our busy schedules. They always do a thorough job, usually within the time cited. They do not push for unnecessary repairs and discuss alternatives when repairs are needed. All in all a good place to use if you wish to keep your car in good repari. more

great service as usual 1/3/2012

I told Paul what I wanted to have done with replacing the 2 front tires, he pointed out that the 2 rear tires were bad as well so he advised me getting a wider tire as well a my oil change and a flush on the radiator from what I saw and told him it was all done in under 3 hours and I read my textbook while I waited. more

Been a customer since we moved to Baldwin 16 years ago. Always found the service to be top notch and of the highest quality. The owner strives to keep all of his customers - both established and new - happy,explains what needs to de done so that you can understand it, and always stands behind his work. He and his crew have always been able to diagnose any (automotive) problem that we have had, regardless of the source, and have been equally sucessful with both our american built and foreign built cars. Won't go to any one else! more

Family Auto Service always provides really good service. My wife and I have been taking our cars there for about 10-15 years, so they've been servicing our cars for years. I have an old car, and the mechanics always do a good job repairing it. I think maybe 9 out of 10 times I haven't had to take it back to them for corrections. They really listen to you and give good feedback. I'd recommend them to anybody! Carlos Vazquez more

The only mechanics I will now use 12/17/2011

The waiting room is clean, & pleasant. They will show you the actual part that needs to be replaced (if possible) So you know they are being honest with you. Their prices are the going rate, cheaper if you buy at an auto store, but here you know that you have the right replacement part installed properly on your car. Sometimes they have great specials, but it can get confusing if your having several things done to your car. Let me put it this way, I trust my wife's car to be in good running condition & safe after it has been serviced here. more
