Best Ever.\r The Dr and staff are so caring. They make me and my dog feel truly special. I would never go anywhere else. more

Great empathy, good price 2/1/2011

I also wonder if the negative reviews are confused about the place. Anyway, here's my experience: \r \r Had a dog with severe congestive heart failure. Needed to put her to sleep, so she wouldn't suffer. After talking with several other places, who all wanted to do numerous expensive tests/procedures, I reach EVH. The doctor and tech were empathetic and professional and the price was quite a bit lower than the other places I checked. The facilities we plain, but very clean and neatly kept. If we get a dog again, this will be our vet and probably our boarding spot as well. more

MY DOGS BEST FRIEND 9/19/2010

Dr. K has been our Vet for Many Many Years and I wouldn't of had it any other way. When I lost my dog due to age(17) I have never seen such kindness from Dr.K and his staff. I never got a bill he told me he would take care of everything and he did, So much more than he should have. I trust him with all my heart and would do anything he recommended. I have never ever felt he didn't care or gave me less than what I paid for. I don't know how his clinic makes money due to all the services he does give and alot of times at no charge. He is not only are pets best friend he is ours. We love him and his whole staff. They are the best more

One of the Best Veterinary clinics in several states 1/21/2009

It has been my pleasure to use the Everett Veterinary hospital for 9 years. Dr. Koening and his staff have shown their love of animals and their proper care to all three my daughters dogs. Being from Texas, I was raised with a number of animals from horses and cows all the way down to beloved family pets, I would rank this clinic on the very top of my list for the past 50 years. Thank you for the concern and compassion my pets and the family have experienced at this clinic. Pros: Everything thing with this practice is great. Cons: I don't have any more

unecassery tests and exams 7/24/2008

Once again a vet who is interested in doing expensive labs and visits for an animal without any change in her health status, to get her prescription for her thyroid medicine she has been on ALL HER LIFE for 11 years.........We have seen Dr. Koening for almost 3 years now and every time it is a battle again to get the prescription filled without him wanting to see the dog and run tests! Without any changes in the dog warranting such exams! As a doctor myself I smell a mouce when I see it! I understand Vets need to make a living too, but this is taking advantage of the ignorance and wallet of less experienced and trusting pet owners. Once a year exam should suffice unless there are changes in the animal's health, which has never been the case. This is the 3rd time this is happening and it is as far as I am concerned an established pattern of behavior with the clinic. I am changing clinics. Pros: able to get in Cons: requiring unessacery tests and exams to get refills on maintenance meds. Rude service from staff when complaining more

Highly recommended vet 3/5/2008

Dr. Koenig is a great vet because he truly cares about his patients, the animals. His staff is always so helpful and you can tell they truly care about the animals as well. My cat has a heart murmur and he is the one that has diagnosed it and has helped me along the way with preventive stuff to look for and to give her. He will do his best to help you. Great vet, I highly recommend him. He not only knows what he is doing but can break it down to you and make sure you understand. Pros: Service Cons: Ways to get in and out of there. more

Everett's BEST Veterinary Hospital 9/17/2007

After reading the first review of this hospital I felt the need to add my opinion. Dr. Koenig is a wonderful man who loves the animals he cares for. After taking my animals there for years I recommend him to everyone who needs a vet. Perhaps the first reviewer went to another animal hospital in Everett, also on Broadway, that is further north. I would not recommend that one as I found it dirty and the staff inattentive. Pros: Great service: they always remember me and my pets. Cons: The boarding facilities aren't very ""cozy"" and you could get cheaper services elsewhere. more

Avoid like the plague???? 11/30/2006

My family has been going to see Dr. Koenig for about 14 years now. He has treated two cocker spaniels, several cats, a great dane and three basset hounds. Our pets love him and he is very helpful always doing FULL checkups. I don't recall ever walking out of there thinking I had been ripped off or not listened to. He genuinly tries to get to know his patients families and establish a friendship with them. I myself drive about 35 minutes to take my dogs there. We love Dr. Koenig and his staff!! more

Wonderful pet care! 10/4/2006

We have been taking our lab to Dr. Koenig for the last 6 years and have been extremely pleased with the care our dog has rec'd. I personally know that Dr. Koenig usually has 1-2 dogs, several cats, rabbits, sheep, etc. So you might say that he often takes his work home with him. I also know that Everett Veterinary Clinic is often the dumping ground for pets some owners no longer care for. Dr. Koenig and his staff go out of their way to find homes for these animals.\r \r I don't know what clinic the other guy went to, but buddy, you couldn't be more wrong. We will continue to go to Everett Vet. Hospital. It's the one my dog prefers! Pros: Great service. Caring doctor. Great staff. Very clean facility. Cons: A little bit of a drive. more

Outstanding professional veterinarian 10/4/2006

I have been a customer of Dr. Koenig for years. He has treated my dogs and many cats with gentle professional care and has shown not only my animals great respect but my family. He is a veterinarian who truly loves animals. I know of several customers who not only are repeat customers but drive from Seattle, some over bridges and take ferries to bring their dogs to him. The word has spread from one customer to the next that Dr. Koenig is a great veterinarian. He has constantly upgraded his clinic, kennels and equipment to better serve his animal clients. Boarding facilities have recently been upgraded and are clean, warm and cooler in the summer. I know many animals have been dumped on his doorstep and he has taken care of the injured and found homes for them. I have the greatest respect for him and his staff. Pros: Handy location, professional veterinarian, repeat customers more

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE 9/6/2006

I have been so unhappy with this veterinarian. He is not knowledgeable about dogs at all. He even seems afraid of them! He is arrogant, mean, and doesn't answer questions thoroughly. He even seems prejudice against dogs. He left us feeling like we were unsure of directions from him and he did not do a thorough exam. Did not check for fleas, did not weigh the dog or check nose or ears. Three days later charged me 100.00 for a re-check and antibiotics for a kennel cough he did not treat originally but had put on our dog's file as having had. more

I only trust this facility! 11/25/2005

My family has been going to the Everett Vet. Hospital for over a decade, and have not only recieved the best care for our pets, but also exceptional customer service. Due to his honesty, and care in his profession, Dr. Koenig has become not only a trusted professional, but a family friend. Having cared for 4 family dogs and one cat with outstanding service, and compassion.... There is no other facility to take your pets in my opinion. more

I feel sorry for this guy's staff 8/7/2005

This vet is a really pompous guy who seems more interested in talking about himself than helping you with your animal. All three times I brought my dog to him I walked away feeling unclear, not listened to, and frustrated. The only thing that brought me back was having established a history with the hospital (I brought me newly adopted dog there for her first round of shots, etc) and the really friendly/helpful office staff. During one appointment the vet tech and I actually shared rolling eyes over this guy as he had a great time listening to himself talk about his phillosophy on something that had nothing to do with my dog. If you want quality care for your pet do yourself (and your pet) a favor and go somewhere else!!!! more
