Eurochow

Eurochow occupies a beautiful location standing on Westwood Boulevard like a towering island. Inside and out, it is quite beautiful. There is a wonderful second story of seating with a great bridge hanging over the ground level. The food is delicious. They have an amazing filet mignon. An unbelievably incredibly prawns and walnuts dish. Some amazing salads and asian cuisene. The restaurant is a nice juxtaposition of multiple international cuisenes. Prices are extremely expensive. However, for an extremely upscale night out, Eurochow is a great place to stop. It is in the heart of Westwood, providing an entertaining walk around the village for entertainment. Also, there is the nearby Hammer Museum, Geffen Playhouse, as well as UCLA's Royce Hall. The food is unbelievable. more

Eurochow is upscale and the food is decent. However, it tries to flaunt chic that it lacks. The outdoor seating is noisy due to it's extreme proximity to Westwood Boulevard. It's modern menu and style are appreciated, but the overall atmosphere lacks pizzazz. Rather bland and disappointing. more

I have nothing against this restaurant. The food is good, don't get me wrong but not worth the price you pay. This is a typical POSH, LA restaurant, where its not about what you eat, its who you eat with. Server was friendly, and the people eating at the other tables only LOOKED important. These people don't know when to stop when they give you food, they full up your plate, . they are not stingy, the bad side it's that it's always packed because people know when it's quality food! I especially like the orange chicken with chow mein or friend rice. The service has been friendly and quick. Granted, the food isnt the same quality youd find at a sit-down restaurant, but its really good for what you pay. I highly recommend this restaurant. more

Lunch for 2 (app: glazed prawns with walnuts & butterfly pillows, ent: chilean sea bass & some chicken dish i can't remember, des: panna cotta & noni cake, drinks: soda) set us back around $80. the food was excellent, but then again, when was the last time someone messed up chilean sea bass and prawns?? it was a bit pricey, i'd prefer to go to a "cooler" restaurant for the price we paid for lunch. the butterfly pillows were interesting and i reccomend trying the eurochow dome. oh yeah, the ambiance is incredible, casablanca lillies, lit tables, and all. more

This place is ridiculously expensive. You should expect to pay around $30-$40 a person. The food here isn't very good, considering its inflated price. You could find plates such as fillet mignon, Chilean sea bass and prawns, calamari, and other very expensive food. On the bright side, the setting and atmosphere is lovely and the ambiance is awesome! A great place to bring a date indeed! more
