fast and good problem solver 8/26/2009

i have high end refrigarator appliance and was having complicated problem with cooling compressor.\r \r after trying two other companies, i called the manufacturer and they recommended i call this company as they are known to be best problem solvers with great engineers.\r \r the engineer that came out seemed to know exactly what the issue was and found that it was not the compressor after all, but with a bent pipe that restricted enough pressure (psi) to the compressor. he was very through in his testing, and kept my new kitchen floor very clean the whole time.\r \r and they managed to get warranty company to pay everything. my refrigator works great now with no problems. i am glad i was nice to them. they really helped me.\r \r if you need top quality service, this is great company. Pros: solved complicated problem more

Stay away from this fraud service 6/8/2009

When I called for the service, the customer service said the charge will be $75 including the checking fee and labor fee. The part is way over charged after I paid the fee and there is an another labor fee of over $80.\r The service guy called Jacob is a liar and a fraud. Stay away from this service. You will end up paying more than a new dryer.\r I would give a negative star if I could. Pros: Absolutely nothing Cons: The services and all the lies more

Barely capable & lacking customer skills 4/8/2009

The water dispenser valve goes bad on our fridge, it sticks on all the time so will flood the house if it wasnt shut off at the valve. We call the house warranty company & they send out Electric Express. I get home to find the technicians van blocking my driveway even though theres a parking spot directly behind him. He doesnt have a flashlight so I loan him one. He doesnt know how to cut a piece of copper tubing to make the connection from the water valve to our fridge's water dispenser so I have to cut the piece for him & make the compression fittings (that I also had to supply) work. He uses pliers on the brass fitting to tighten the nuts which completely mangles the fitting & it still leaks when he leaves so I have to re-tighten them. He doesnt clean up the mess he made on our kitchen floor. He doesnt take the failed parts with him. Its like they gave this guy a van, instruction book for our fridge & the parts to replace without any training. When I ask him why he blocks the driveway when theres a parking spot right behind him, he just kinda shrugs it off saying there wasnt a spot even though the spot was still there (& is always there). The only enjoyment I got was when he initially came to look at the water dispenser & turned on the valve which promptly sprayed his back with water (I warned him!!). If it wasnt for the fact that our house still has the warranty so we pay $50 for repairs, I wouldve kicked him out. I know these guys arent plumbers but neither am I, I think they should know how to operate a compression fitting since they use those for fridge water dispensers & should have some basic social skills. The water dispenser does work so I guess they did the job, I just know to never let them in our house again. Pros: They were on time Cons: I had to finish what they started more

Call someone else unless you like waiting for no one to show up 11/28/2008

My stove is not working the week of Thanksgiving. I have a warranty with Land America (that is a separate mess). I report the problem and someone from Electric Express Appliances calls me at work. He says the soonest he can send someone out is the day after Thanksgiving between 1-4:00. I work for a Bank and do not have that day as a holiday so I have to take a PTO day. I sit around my house all afternoon waiting and no one ever showed up. I call Land America and they tell me to contact Electric Express Appliance directly to find out when the repair person is going to show up. I call and their office is closed. How incompetent can a company be to not show up or to schedule appointments on a day when they might be closed. I'm so frustrated because next week I'm in meetings all week and extremely busy at work because I'll be on vacation the following week and don't have time to take another PTO day and sit around and HOPE someone will show up. \r \r If you're smart you'll use a company that knows how to run a business Cons: They won't show up more

Fastest and Best In The Area 11/7/2008

I love these people. They show up on time and sometimes earlier which in the case of refrigerator malfunction, is a blessing. They have no problem with any appliances. The best bet in the area for all your repairs. more

Frustrating Service 3/26/2007

Very Frustrating service. The technicians are great. However, their logistics/phone operator acts like a tin god. Refrigerator part was identified as malfunctioning, technician ordered part. However, their estimates were weeks off and when I called to complain... they cancelled the job. This is weeks in after I sent in the fix order when they decided to inform me of this. Thanks to their incompetence, I was left without a refrigerator for over a month. Highly suggest another company. My refrigerator did not work. I found Electric Express Appliance on internet. Send request form and less than 1 hour got a call from their office manager. They came right away and for very reasonable price. Excellent service. Thank you guys. more
