My coworkers and I have been fans of the El Nopal locations off Westport Road and Shelbyville Road (now closed), so when they opened a new location in J'Town, I had to check it out. My friends and I were not disappointed.
This is not a fancy restaurant, but they went all out converting the old Vivarazzi's into a fun restaurant with great color, Mexican art and decor. There's even Latin music playing in the background, which I LOVE! More restaurants should learn a lesson from these guys!
You'll find the usual Mexican restaurant fare, and it's fast plus inexpensive. The food is very tasty and the margarita specials never hurt.
