This store has so much to see. Every item is handmade by creative, local artists. And the best thing is the prices--they are not what you'd expect considering everything is so carefully crafted. My favorite items are the shoes and bags. This store is a true gem and I was lucky to have stumbled upon it. You get personal attention from warm salespeople while you're shopping as well. All around great experience here. more

Local Designers - yes from Brooklyn! 9/21/2005

If you are looking for unique items to give as gifts, and have an affinity to buy local, this is the place to come to. They showcase Brooklyn designers, and you can literally find whole outfits here for the women in your life. They have interesting little gift ideas as well, and it worth checking out just to get inside the local Brooklyn artist mind. They change over for the seasons, and often have new items in between,but it's a good excuse to get into Brooklyn and shop! more

Really cute unique items 8/20/2005

This shop has really cute, unique items. I love the shoes, which are actually comfortable. I love the handbags too. They have very unique, trendy items. They have many handmade items with attention to detail, so you know everyone is not going to be carrying around the same bag as you. The staff is friendly and the store is cozy. more

Interesting mix, lovely clothes 8/15/2005

I was first taken Eidolon by a friend, who lives in the neighborhood and now shops there almost exclusively. The clothes are lovely, most of them all designed by the owner or local designers, so you are guaranteed something unique and original. A nice range of accessories as well, especially hats and jewelry. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Park Slope, Brooklyn -- this shop is a little treasure along "the other 5th Ave". more
