Effective Air Heating & Air Conditioning

Of course, we had to have a problem with our air conditioner during one of the warmest spells of this summer. By the time we realized we had a problem and called for help, the office was closed. The emergency service contacted the on-call technician who, in turn, immediately, called us back. He set up a time, came to our home, diagnosed the problem, and got us cooled down. more

Effective Air is absolutely an effective company, and I'm very happy to have found them. They've been very consistent in providing incredibly reliable, thorough service, and I haven't had any problems with them, at all. Both of my units are under a maintenance warranty and I really couldn't be happier. The technician who arrived, last, was very well-prepared and wonderfully efficient. I have used Effective Air in the past. I discontinued using them for awhile and then decided that I would give them another try. I have a service agreement with them. My air conditioner had stopped working and I called them to schedule an appointment. I could not believe the customer service representative on the other end of the phone. I felt as though I was training her to be a customer service representative. The scheduling for the technician to come out was absolutely ludicrous. I could not see taking off work for a window of time that spread to four or more hours! That's insane! This person obviously had no customer service skills at all. It almost got to the point where I didn't know if I was working for them or they were working for me. The service technician did arrive and had the AC fixed in a matter of two minutes. I recently received the bill which I will be calling them about because I am on a service contract and the bill is nearly $200.00! I do give the service technician a five star rating because he was phenomenal. The other aspects of this call from customer service, scheduling to billing is a total zero! I regret ever going back to this business! more
