I went in today for acute bronchitis when I couldn't get in to see my GP until May or any other GP I was referred to by friends and family. The front office staff was wonderful; got me in to see Dr. Rao quickly. Nurse Stephanie was kind and did her job well. Dr Rao was kind, efficient and professional. Since I've suffered with this many times previously I knew the correct treatment that should be administered. The treatment was as I had received previously and was administered correctly. The only concern I had with Dr. Rao was the miss pronounced illness that I have -- it's difficult to say but most doctors pronounce it correctly or come close -- and his explanation of the treatment for an infection. If he treated me as he explained I should not have received antibiotics, which I was given. I'll have to double check with another physician to be sure. Nonetheless, the treatment was, as I've said, inline with previous treatments received. Now the BIG but..... I wasn't able to research the facility prior to arriving today for treatment due to how ill I was at the time. Had I seen the reviews I probably would not have gone in for treatment which would have landed me in the hospital within 24 hours. I despise billing disputes but know how to get the proper authorities involved to get to the bottom of billing issues and the facility's billing practices. I may end up paying more than I should have to pay but the facility will be scrutinized inside and out by federal and state agencies if I'm billed incorrectly. Let me be clear...that is not a threat. I've run in to problems like this before and have learned, the hard way, how to get to the bottom of billing problems that can't be resolved amicably. I will post later about my billing experience. Thanks to all, except Dr. Michael K. and the other obviously in house "review", who have taken the time to post about their experiences. I found all the reviews helpful and informative.
