I have gone to Dyanna for Brazilian waxes for over a year. The brazilian is the crown jewel of this place, and they know it. Everyone does a great job. Whether you are a first-timer or frequent waxer you will be is good hands here. I have had more than 5 different people do a fantastic job here. Olga, Anna, Tanya, Jackie- they are all pros at this place! Service is quick, thorough and professional. Tell them what you want- show them the shape or "everything" off. Opt for the tushy, too- for an extra $5. The ladies always follow through on exactly what is described and never ever "missed a spot". The best and I never walk out of there paying more than $30. A great deal and a great place. I used to work in the neighborhood but now I take a train just to get waxed here. Pros: Good Price, Professional more

I personally perfer to not pay a ton to get my bikini waxed. I just tried Dyanna and I was quite impressed- Anna waxed me withnin minutes and it barely hurt and she got it all! Indeed this place is no thrills but who needs thrills when you get waxed? Pros: Great Price, Painless, Friendly Cons: , Language Barrier more

Best Pore Cleansing Facial Ever!! 8/25/2003

I've had lots of facials but I've never had a facial like this. Other places barely clean your pores or get out those stubborn blackheads but my facialist spent 30 minutes doing just that. Yes, it was slightly painful, but when it was done my skin never looked so clean. She did a very meticulous job and she was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The place is definitely not swanky, but they really do a great job. If you want a relaxing facial with a soothing atmosphere go elsewhere, but if you want your face cleaned and your blackheads gone, go to Dyanna's. Also, they're curt and to the point, but I like that. No fake personalities trying to get you to buy something you don't need. They give you what you ask for and that's it. Pros: Meticulous Facials, Punctual, No Sales Pressure Cons: No Atmosphere more

I got the worst pedicure - 10 minutes - not clean tools and horrible service. The women there are so rude and not interested. They made me wait while the woman smoked a cigarette and then ate lunch - DONT GO! more

Where are these good reviews coming from? In a city like NY where you're spoilt for choice, why go to a place where the staff are unfriendly, converse in Russian over your shoulder, produce mediocre results at best when you can get so much more for the same price? I don't get it. Pros: punctual, inexpensive Cons: grim conditions, rude service more

Dyanna has the best value overall for good quality services. My pedicure with Lana was amazing, and for only $20, she gave me the same service I would have payed more for at other spas. The spa is cheap, clean, and the ladies there know what they are doing. I will definitely be going there again! Pros: quality, inexpensive Cons: not posh more

Sure, the astmosphere is non-existent, but can you beat $26 Brazilian Wax in NYC? I don't think so. I *love* Jackie. She is EXCELLENT! Her skill matches that of J. Sisters. ;) I can't speak for other service since I have only done Waxing a few times here. But it is definately worth it for me!!! more

Treatment 4/25/2003

Problem is with language. I wanted to make an appointment and the lady who treated me wanted to book me for another treatment, and they started talking in russian - I frankly find it very disrespectful. Plus since they understand very little english and can speak in broken english alone. It is difficult to understand. I wanted a european facial, she didn't give me massage and then I asked her about massage then she tells me that,"Oh I changed the treatment, because your skin had a problem and massage no good" go figure... more

Overcame My Fear 12/26/2002

I never had a full leg bikini before because I was afraid of the pain. One of my friends, recommended Laura from the salon, "Dyanna." I followed my friend's advice and went to see her. I was very happy with the way she did it. It was fast, painless and very professional. I even sent my boyfriend to see Laura for back wax and he was satisfied as well. more

Overcame My Fear 12/25/2002

I never had a full leg bikini before because I was afraid of the pain. One of my friends, recommended Laura from the salon, "Dyanna." I followed my friend's advice and went to see her. I was very happy with the way she did it. It was fast, painless and very professional. I even sent my boyfriend to see Laura for back wax and he was satisfied as well. more
