OPI Nail Polish is AMAZING, Dyanna Spa Rocks! 11/23/2010

I've been looking for places in New York/ Manhattan to try the OPI no-chip nail polish manicures and pedicures and found out Dyanna Spa offers it, so I decided to give it a try. I work almost 10-12 hrs every day and really have no time for pampering, so if I got to a salon I want to see results that last, so when I found out about this treatment, I was all in. A bit skeptical at first, I came to Dyanna Nail Salon and the nice nail technician assured me that the polish looks good just like a regular manicure (I assumed it would be think and cakey). I got most of the regular steps of a manicure, except no cuticle cutting because apparently that's not allowed with OPI no-chip polish, which I was fine with. When the nail polish dried, I was amazed. The color looked great and what's better is that after 2 weeks there was not dent, scratch, or chip on my nails! I felt polished and put together all throughout and the only time I needed to come in for a redo was when my nails started to grow out. This treatment is a miracle... seriously ladies it's a must try! more

Hey guys , if you are like me and have never before done any sort of wax on your body for various reasons then I must say: go to Dyanna Body & Nail Salon. I was recently dragged into the spa by my girlfriend to get my back and chest waxed, and at the end of it, the waxing was not that bad. The pain is tolerable, but when you have professionals who do it quickly and they know what they are doing, the procedure is over in no-time! Go to Dyanna Spa - Gramercy Park NYC in you have any fears and you won't regret it. more

First time at Dyanna's... 9/21/2010

I went in today to try out the OPI UV gel manicure. I've never done it before, and I've heard great things about it. The salon is decorated beautiful and very clean. I'm not sure how all of the manicurists and workers are (they all seemed snobby and talked in Russian the entire time), but I am so lucky to have had Marlene go my uv gel manicure. She was super friendly from when I walked in, gave me a great greeting (better than the woman at the reception desk), and gave me many helpful tips for my nails and skin. She took her time and was a perfectionist with my nails. She filed them beautifully and looked at every little detail. I will definitely be going back here again to get my nails done, and I will be sure to request Marlene. Thank you so much! you made my trip there a pleasure! more

Up until last week, I was probably the last girl in Manhattan who was shaving her bikini area. I finally got enough courage to go and get my brazilian wax done at Dyanna Spa, in Gramercy area. I always felt uncomfortable at the idea of such compromizing situation and the pain the the waxing entails. However when I came to Dyanna Sp, they made me feel like it is nothing extraordinary. The lady that was doing my wax, talked me through the whole procedure, made me feel extremely comfortable and di the job very quickly. It was a bit painful, but I was told that it gets easier the more you do it. I will make my next apointment only at Dyanna Spa! more

I keep coming back to this awesome spa in the heart of Flatiron, because they really make me feel a valued customer and the results are amazing. They are real experts in facials. After the Dyanna Spa facial my skin feels so soft and smooth. Also this is the best place in New York to get your Brazilian bikini waxing. The ladies do it fast , clean and pain free!!! To addition I highly recommend to do manicure and pedicure here. All the ladies do it perfectly, but I usually go to Sabina, she is the best. And the last, but not the least - PRICES. They are so affordable here, so that you can get great service at low price - perfect! Pros: prices, service, staff Cons: none more

BEST Waxing Salon I have EVER been to in my LIFE. 4/15/2010

I thought I would never get a full brazilian wax done again, but Alex totally changed my mind. I warned her of the challenge she had ahead, but she assured me that she would take care of everything. She was so nice and understanding. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I can't believe she did it in less than 15 minutes. I just remember her saying 'were almost done' and I had to look down and see it for myself because I didn't believe her. For those who fear getting a brazilian done please visit Dyanna Salon - Spa before you decide to shave it instead. If I was able to get it done than anyone can. And ontop of that I got it done friday and I got my period on sunday so I thought the pain would be unbearable because I would be more sensitive, but I was wrong. I have to admit once I got it done I felt so confident and sexy and my boyfriend absolutely loved it. Now I can go on my cruise with no worries of feeling self-conscious in my bathing suit or shorts. She's fast, professional, clean, and wonderful. You can't go wrong with Alex. She rocks!!!Dyanna Spa #1 Waxing Salon in New York City! I took advantage of the Dyanna Spa's April specials and tried out Pomegranate Red Apple Body Scrub & Facial. I had a really great experience! My esthetician was very knowledgeable and friendly! First, she performed the scrub for me and while I was lying with an exfoliant, she did the facial for me. During the procedure I felt completed relaxed, and after – my skin felt so silky smooth and radiant. Another big advantage of Dyanna salon - spa is its location...Also their prices are very affordable and they often have various promotions and saving packages. Definitely worth a try! Love Dyanna Spa! Not sure about what the previous reviewer was talking about in regards to wait time, because I come here regularly for waxes and have never had to wait.. at the most 10 minutes, but even that would be on a super busy day when I just walk in without an appointment. Even on Valentine's Day, the Friday before, I came in for a wax and was out of the salon in under 30 minutes! Their bikini & Brazilian waxes are absolutely amazing. They are super thorough, quick & painless (relative to all other places I have tried). The salon itself is clean, everybody is really friendly and nice. On top of all this, their prices are so affordable, they will not break your bank! I had tried out a lot of salons in Manhattan for waxing, and Dyanna Spa turned out to be the best for me. What a waste of time!!! 3/29/2010

Want to ruin a supposedly relaxing experience? Here, you can make an apointment just fine, HOWEVER you will not be received with open arms or even ushered in on time. In fact you will have to wait so long that there is no time left for your much needed and anticipated facial! Busy New Yorkers have no time for this place. Can't review their facials here because I didn't get the time because they had me waiting there for 28 minutes past my appointment time. No care, no point, why bother. This place is a waste of time! Pros: can book an appointment Cons: wait half an hour and have to leave without a facial! more
