What a waste of time!!! 3/28/2010

Want to ruin a supposedly relaxing experience? Here, you can make an apointment just fine, HOWEVER you will not be received with open arms or even ushered in on time. In fact you will have to wait so long that there is no time left for your much needed and anticipated facial! Busy New Yorkers have no time for this place. Can't review their facials here because I didn't get the time because they had me waiting there for 28 minutes past my appointment time. No care, no point, why bother. This place is a waste of time! Pros: can book an appointment Cons: wait half an hour and have to leave without a facial! more

5 STAR manicure/pedicure,hands down.The sweetest Nail salon! 3/26/2010

I found out about Dyanna Nail Salon, from my friends and when I finally went there it lived up to all expectations. It's clean and not cramped like some salons I've been to. The employees are very helpful and fantastic. My manicurist is Marie, she is gentile, quick and uber professional. In my opinion, the way an aesthetician should be. They have a nice selection of polishes including my preferred brand- OPI Gel. I got an amazing manicure and pedicure at a really affordable price, especially for this wealthy Gramercy Park/ Manhattan area. They have great massage pedicure chairs, which they let you run the controls & enjoy the chairs as long as you want. I am actually going to Dyanna Salon tomorrow to try their Brazilian Mani/Pedi, which is not available in other nail salons I've been too. I've heard they are running promotion for this type of mani/pedi right now, so I definitely have to try that. Highly recommended salon/spa in New York! Pros: Great place to have high-quality looking hands and feet. more

THE BEST SPA AND BEAUTY SALON IN MANHATTAN/NYC 2/19/2010

I' have been looking for a great beauty salon/spa in Manhattan, NYC for a long time. And finally I have found the best one for me. I work at Gramercy Park area and the Dyanna spa is conveniently located on 5th Ave and E 21 St, so that I can take care of my nails during my lunch. I always do mani and pedi there and it takes me only 45 minutes - fast and quality service!!! Its also great that they recently have introduced the Brazilian manicure and Jelly pedicure. I have tried them already and I love it! Ohh and I was positively surprised with their affordable prices!So now I believe you actually can get a great service at low prices!!! Highly recommended spa!!!! Pros: prices, customer service, quality of treatment Cons: none more

Quick and professional 2/19/2010

I have tried my first ever brazilian wax there, and I would not go anywhere else! The wax was quick and practically painless. The technicians are so professional and nice, they make you feel super comfortable. I do not remember my technician's name but I would definitely go back to her for another session. This is one of the best spas in Manhattan with a very affordable prices. The Dyanna Spa is located in Manhattan's Gramercy Park, an easy and fast walk from various train and bus stations. more

Quick & Cheap Electrolysis 2/3/2010

I get my electrolysis done here for cheap and it is fast! It's not the most glamourous place you've ever walked into (no Bliss Spa or anything), but they get the job done. I've never had the waxing, but every time I'm waiting, anywhere from 3-5 girls are waiting/raving about how good the waxing is. Pros: professional staff, effective and quick treatments Cons: not glamourous; simple, humble, yet clean environment more

I came across Dyanna Spa after seeing that it won for Best of New York for waxing, and was extremely pleased to noticed that it's only a few blocks away from me in Gramercy Park! I called for an appointment and was relieved to find out they had time to book me that same day being that I was going on vacation the day after. I had a bikini and full leg wax done, as well as eyebrow threading. The whole process was fairly QUICK AND PAINLESS, the salon was extremely clean and cozy and Sabina the girl that performed everything was beyond sweet and professional. Now I know why this salon received a top rank for best of NYC for hair removal! Being such a hit or miss service, it's amazing to know that there are salons that can deliver such great quality at such a reasonable price. I would absolutely recommend it and will be back next month! You are the best,fast and painless....... Do not listen to those who going to tell you otherwise. Go and find out for yourself..... I am a new male to New York, so definitely not a veteran waxer and was extremely nervous when I came in for my first ever hair removal procedure at Dyanna Spa. It's probably not common for men to do waxing, but the staff was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable during the whole procedure. I am a swimmer, so had to do a whole body wax and was prepared for the worst but was pleasantly surprised when the experience was quick, painless, thorough and extremely sterile. The girl doing it explained to me Dyanna Spa's no double dipping policy, her technique was clearly one of a pro. She was friendly and I knew pretty quickly I was in good hands. The staff was nice, the prices are great, the waxes are thorough and minimally painful, and the location in Gramercy park in Manhattan NYC is great! I would highly recommend the waxes at Dyanna Spa to both men and women alike. Pros: quick, painless, no double dipping, professional, friendly Cons: none more

This is the best nail salon that I've been to! 11/24/2009

Walked in, requested and received an appointment for a last-minute, same day manicure and pedicure - on a SATURDAY. Not a bad start. Irine was very friendly, my nails and toes look great, the price ($35) was right, and it's in the neighborhood. Can't ask for much more, I'll be back. One thing to note: tips cannot be added to a credit card payment - must be cash or check. This is actually better for the technicians, but caught me off guard. If you typically pay via credit card, bring cash for the tip! I'm definitely going back. Pros: Great deals for mani/pedi and awesome service! more
