Never again will I attempt to buy from this store. Unhelpful, impatient and lacking the energy to walk up the stairs to check on what was in stock if anything. Dr. impatient hung up on me and I was left with a feeling of misunderstanding, dissappointment and just plain angry. Is Dr no_patients another frustrated musician not fulfilling his dream? more

Mick was very friendly and helpful, though a little too laid-back in terms of following through on my Crate amp purchase. Mary Ann is just a doll with a great attitude (I'd LOVE to take her home if she and I were both free!). Frank is a treasure-trove of excellent knowledge about all things percussive. I went to Dr. Music to have some different guage strings installed onto my guitar. The hippy behind the counter made it seem as if he was performing rocket science. I could've did the job myself, but I dont mind paying a small pence to a guy who does it for a living. After one and a half hours changing my strings. He charges me another 10 dollars than what was originally agreed upon. Saying that ""Your guitar's bridge is more complicated than most."" Something to that extent, he also gave me a sob story stating that they ""need to pay the rent"". I coughed up the money and vowed never to return. P.S He didn't do too great of a job, my 1st string is as dull as the WB network. A bit of a strange place really, decent prices and fair amount of stuff that makes christmas seem a long way off. Pay with cash and they seem to give better deals. Keeps me coming back. more
