I have had nothing but extremely negative encounters with the staff, the nurses, the doctor (I saw Dr. Rice), and now the customer service reps in billing at D.O.C.S. The staff is rude. The facilities are not clean. I waited almost an hour for both of my appointments there. I had to call multiple times a day---I was repeatedly put on hold and eventually transferred to some 'nurse's station' phone that rang endlessly---to get a necessary prescription refilled. When I called to inquire about my (abnormal) test results the nurse was dismissive, and then the doctor was rude, curt, and couldn't even be bothered to pull my file while talking to me about them. She up-billed my insurance for services not actually rendered, the charges for which---because I don?t have good insurance---were passed along to me. For example, she billed almost $200 for a 'psychotherapy' session, which was actually me spending two minutes in her office getting an expired prescription rewritten. When I called the billing department to sort out all of the charges, one representative was thoroughly unhelpful (telling me the exact opposite of what his colleague told me a month earlier), condescending, and rude. He eventually said, ?Call your insurance company!? and hung up on me. If you want personal, respectful, competent care, you certainly will not find it here.
