Food good, service STINKS! 10/24/2002

The food here is good and because of that I would recommend it to friends BUT b/c the service stinks I would not! If you are going to eat here eat in the restaurant b/c apparently their togo menu which looks exactly like their regular menu is wrong! I went to order a togo order and when I finally got the chance to order, the waitress that took my order was rude and told me that what I wanted to order. . .I couldn't. ""house rules"" or something like that. I finally talked her into giving me the order that I wanted. Boy I should've known that was going to be an issue. I get my order home and wouldn't ya know. I get the wrong order! WOW~ I am soo surprised. NOT. I will definitely not be going back to Din Ho. more

My experience 8/8/2002

Im a regular of Din Ho so i kinda know most of the foods there.What i like the most is the roast duck they are so good and delicious.I greatly recommend that and you will never regret it.And mostly i feel that Din ho is the best chinese restaurant in austin more

Service without a smile. 7/19/2002

First, any review that ends with a 3 rating and doesn't mention the food is ignorantly biast. Most of the dishes I've enjoyed there have been quite good, especially the BBQ and hot and sour soups. The pricing is quite reasonable, the dishes are served when ready, not all at once (perfect for chinese dining) and I for one LIKE having my check waiting for me when I'm done, and my glass filled without a word. People whine too much when they're not cuddled. Pros: Pricing, Authenticity, Soups Cons: Service, Poor Sanitary Audits more
