they charged me $150 for "nuts & bolts" and said unless i was bringing my own tools & supplies that is the customary fee charged. They also wanted to charge me $400 to change my rear brakes! Pros: nothing Cons: everything more

From start to finish, Desert Volkswagen was appallingly bad. Misquoted us and then didn't install the timing belt right and then kept trying to upsell us to the next service; then were shocked we complained. I could go on, but poor customer care, poor skills and bad attitude make Desert Volkswagen one of the worst places in the Valley for service. don't go!! more

I went into Desert for a regular routine maintenance. They charged $75 for oil changed that I was never awared off. They were never cleared from the start what was covered in my warranty as far as routine maintennce. On top of that, they said I had $800 worth of wear and tear problems that required attention that's not covered in my warranty. I got a second opions from other places and didn't even come close to what they quoted me. I will never come back to this location again. more

I have had allot of work done at there location and it was a good experiance, they even helped me make the reght decisions without going over my head, it was none pressure and very friendly, I will keep my car there for all of its needs! PROS: Very Good and fast. CONS: more

These people are good for sales. I did not feel pressured or screwed over in any way. They gave me a good price for an awesome car and did ok with the trade. The first couple of times I had service done at their shop the experience was great in and out. The last time that I picked up the car there was more wrong with it than when I dropped it off. This caused me to have to leave it at the shop two more times. They could not get the repairs done unless I stood right there to tell the mechanic what he needed to do. I then had to direct the detailer to several grease spots that were left inside on the dash and support pillars. I am not saying I would never deal with them again but next time when they say it will be an hour I will plan on a week and I will follow up daily with the service manager. They claim to be a five star dealer. Not a chance three stars is all I can do. PROS: nice clean place CONS: no quality controle more

I bought my Beetle from Findley but found that Desert actually caters to the customer better and makes them feel at home during service. if you have a choice head over. more
