If you are looking for burgers and comfort food; salads, mac and cheese, and other American fair. You can stop here. The burgers are great and the mac and cheese is out of this world. Avoid the Picknic Chicken sandwidth, its a little underwhelming. If you order the mac and cheese, take 2/3rds of it home. Avoid the tapped beers, they always seem flat. I use to be a big fan of this place until recently. I had a drink and a sandwich and it cost me $20 including tip. I ordered tarter sauce they charged me $.75. I know Seattle is expensive but this is ridiculous. I won't go back and pay that much for average food. Pros: Food, Good beer selection, Good vibe. Cons: Way too expensive. more

I've eaten at the DeLuxe twice. The first time, I had fish and chips--hard not get right. It was good, but not stellar. Unfortunately, it was winter and we were seated close to the fireplace (which rests on a section of wall/booth seating) so it was far too hot. The second time I was there for lunch, for crabcakes and cream of mushroom soup. The crabcakes would have been good had they not been cooked on the same surface as the hamburgers, which left them with little bits of charred beef and that overwhelming burger taste. The soup tasted exactly like the flour and butter used to make it, a sign that the roux was undercooked. The potential was there for good food, but silly mistakes made it very underpar. The bar is nice, the drink selection good, but the staff isn't exceptionally friendly or outgoing. Pros: Good Drinks, Good Selection Cons: Inconsistent Food, Can be Pricey more

OMG! They are soooo good! As far as bar food goes, this place is tops, but dont order anything that takes some culinary skill. You WILL be disappointed... but I heart their burgers! more

I am not even a vegetarian, but I have gone to De Luxe twice for the salads alone. I have also seen their burgers and need to go back since they looked so good. It is a little pricey, but the ambiance and location is good. Pros: Food, Service Cons: Price more

I've been going to the Deluxe for years and I always have a good time. I love the burgers---sometimes they're great, sometimes not, but sitting in a booth with a friend is a great way to spend an evening. Tuesday nights it's quiz night and this place doesn't mess around---the questions are challenging. more
