I used this service for the first time and I will never use them again! I use a online credit card account for online purchases and deliveries to protect my personal accounts. It is great for online purchases or ordering food, so I used it on delicious deliveries. I placed the order and they called me letting me know my order was placed the card went through and my food should arrive within an hour.
The delivery guy showed up and asked for an imprint of the card. I explained to him the process that I used and that I did not have a physical card as it is an online account. He told me he could not give me the food without a physical imprint. I was irritated because no where on the web site nor did the person I talked to to confirm my order mentioned this at all. Most delivery companies just charge the card and you sign the receipt at pick-up but not them!
The delivery guy told me he was sorry but they have not charged the card yet, so it should be ok right? WRONG!! The card was charged as pending and I was informed later that it would be 2-3 business days before the hold was lifted (the amount my food cost plus 20%)!!!
I was very irritated I argued with them letting them know I waited an hour for food that I was charged for and no one informed me on their policy on needing a physical card present! They would do nothing saying it was my fault for not having another form of payment and that I should not be mad because the card was technically not ""charged.""
I thought they would at least just give me the food since they already had charged the card but nothing, no apology, no credit, NOTHING.
This was a waste of an hour and money!
