Proactive Service 11/19/2008

I first visited Steven Creeks Mazda because my Mazda 3 was showing a WARNING light... Mrs Duvall (Krista) took care of me; she was very professional: fast and easy. I was in and out within 15 minutes with a loan car. The next day I picked up my car - fixed and washed. Mrs. Duvall noticed my dashboard was cracked so she told me she will order a new dashboard...THAT'S BEING PROACTIVE! I requested a RX-8 for a loan car but Mazda doesn't offer RX-8 for loaners; She asked if I would like a Maita...:-)))) Thanks to Mrs Duvall I will be buying my 3rd Mazda from Steven Creeks :))) more

Oaktree Mazda San Jose Ca 9/27/2008

Oaktree Mazda San Jose,Ca I purchase a Car here and the deal was Ok . The first thing I did was bring in a legit deal from the Internet. They matched it with no problems. Next I needed some payments I could afford and the salesperson told me they just send it to a bunch of Credit Unions and let them fight it out. They came back with a great rate and everything worked out. The only thing I didn't like was they didn't want my old car as it had 280k miles. They told me to donate it which is Ok . I mean I don't buy a lot of cars but they seemed Ok and I'm happy. Pros: They helped with a good interest rate through a credit union even though my score was low Cons: They didn't want my trade-in but I liked the Idea of donattion anyway more

Oaktree Mazda an easy place to buy a car 9/27/2008

Oaktree Mazda,San Jose My car buying experience at Oaktree went very well overall. When I arrived at the dealership that sense of uneasiness went away in part because of the salespeople. When I was a kid my parents used to take me car shopping and most of the salespeople worked at the dealership next door. So when I reminded my Salesperson of that they gave me a little better treatment. I purchased the car that was on ad and felt like they really took care of me. The deal went through with few problems and they did a great job showing me all the options. I had visited the dealership next door and wasn't pleased. I think in my experience its sometimes the salespeople that made the difference and the more seasoned salespeople know what I wanted and made it happen. Pros: Older Salespeople that if you ask for a straight deal they give it to you Cons: Parking and a little bit of a wait once I said yes till I signed the paperwork more

Friendly and Knowledgable 8/8/2008

I bought my Mazda3 at Oak Tree Mazda in late 2005 and I've been taking it back to the dealer for service ever since. I've always gotten great customer support back from them. They take the time to explain their service recommendations, and they don't use the expected high-pressure tactics to get you to spend more on maintenance than you planned for. A couple of times I've said 'no' or 'I'll wait on that' and the service reps have always dropped the issue. more

Competitive prices with awesome customer service! 8/8/2008

Although I like to do my research before trying a new business, my vehicle was in desperate need of service. So I decided to try Oak Tree Mazda mostly because of the convenient location. I was greeted promptly by the service staff. My service advisor (Kristina) was very professional and very friendly. We reviewed my vehicles history and then she made the appropriate recommendations. Then I was shuttled to work by a very nice man named Brad. I was kept informed throughout the day and my vehicle was completed 2 hours early! When I picked the vehicle up I was once again impressed by the courtesy and professionalism of the Oak Tree service staff. I have been driving for 30-years and this is by far the best experience I have ever had at a dealership. Kudo's to Oak Tree Mazda! Pros: Exemplary customer service more

The worst service department ever 3/21/2008

I found my car leaking some fluid on Saturday and made an appointment with Oak Tree Mazda. My year model 2004 often has problems with the filter leaking so I hoped it was that. I night-dropped it the day before and early in the morning I got a call from Tim. Tim told me that my car was had been severly damaged on the side of the leak and repainted and repaired but some internal parts are squeezed where the oil leaks. I was shocked and started an argument with him as I am accident free for 250000 miles and got the car brand new. He pulled a bit back about details but was insisting the car was repaired. At least so he said the bumper was repainted. Now you have to know I hand wax my car and park it away from others so it doesn't get dents. I got it brand new. I got really upset about this lying in my face.I rushed to the dealer and got my car without service. I was extremely upset about their lying. Later I got a call from Alan the service manager. He excused and offered a free inspection for the leak. I asked him why I was told this story anyways when they don't know where the leak is from and told him about the citysearch reviews they have here. He told me it was to justify the cost for checking it out. Arggghh!!!! No one ever spoke about cost! Of course it costs money to find the leak!!!!! I am the first to understand that honest work costs something but honesty is nothing that is celebrated at Oak Tree. more

#1 oak tree mazda 3/19/2008

I called the service number for an appointment. Was connected to the service director. At that point i was asked what day and time would work with my schedule. When i brought my car in, i was greeted promptly.Since this was my first time at this dealership, the service consultant had asked several questions about my previous services and if there were any other concerns i had.i was beginning to feel very comfortable with the new service center. Imagine my surprise when the service consultant had asked my permission to have a technician ride with me for one of the concerns. My car is a 2005 with 38000 miles on it and i was told by two other dealerships that the hard shift from first to second gear when cold was normal for this year and model of car.Well, the technician actually found a technical service bulletin for this problem, performed the ""reflash"" to the pcm/tcm and now the transmission shifts smooth .I actually think im getting better fuel mileage now. Pros: fantastic facility Cons: customer parking area is small more

TERRIBLE ""SERVICE"" 2/25/2008

I wanted to give them 0 stars, but had to give one for this. At least it means ""not recommended,"" which is what I think. Pros: None that I know of Cons: ""Service,"" They mess up and blame you, they yell at you.... more
