Best

Greatest hotel in Seattle, it really feels like a home.

Nice hotel ... just that they got into our room (a mix up?) and took away the refrigerator ... got rid of the baby bottle/food and shopping from Pike Place Market. On sensing tha...

Greeeat! Terrific redo 1/10/2007

Comfortable (oh! those beds, pillows, & duvets), classy decor, good service at a good price. did i mention the draperies? How many hotels have you stayed in where the light creeps around the skimpy window coverings. Not here, they spared no expense and actually used the recommended yardage for full, luxurious draperies like the ones good designers have made for their pickiest clients. Even the tiniest rooms are beautifully and comfortably appointed. Bathroom redos are reminicent of the quaint originals but work very well. more

"University Tower Hotel" is a "Best Western" 5/7/2006

When my grandmother wanted to visit, and talked about staying at a "Best Western," I was against it. But when I saw the internet imageshttp://www.universitytowerhotel.com/ of this old Art-Deco style building, I changed my mind! It wasn't very expensive, though twice the price of a "Motel 6". For about $120/night, we got a view of the U-District, two queen-sized beds, free wireless internet, continental breakfast, and great service. It's a block away from 45th and University, near the Neptune Theater. There is a Tully's attached to it, and an upscale bar/banquet area in the basement. And the lobby is so cozy, you might not feel like leaving it. more

Ahh. How quaint. 3/10/2006

I love this hotel. ITS BEAUTIFUL! I love the decor and always recommend friends and family to this place for a nights stay. Its a little on the expensive side but worth it. It was just remodeled a couple months ago and they did an amazing job. The staff are accommodating in giving you information and making sure your room is up to par. The restaurant below is really good and bar area is very impressive. There is comfortable seating and at times live music. more

  • In Short
The beautifully decorated lobby with its rich 1930s influence sets the Art Deco tone of the rest of this popular North End hotel. The 158 guest rooms live up to the lobby's pace:...
