I TOOK MY DAUGHTER TO ORDER THE DRESS SHE WANTED, THE COST WAS $529 WE PUT THE DOWN PAYMENT AND WOULD TAKE 1 WEEK TO GET IT IN THE STORE. THE DRESS ARRIVED AND THE OWNER CALLED ME TO SAY THAT THE DRESS WAS $599 I LET HIM KNOW THAT ON MY RECEIPT IT WAS $529 HE SAID IF YOU DONT WANT IT COME GET YOUR DEPOSIT. I TOLD HIM I WOULD HAVE TO SPEAK TO MY HUSBAND TO SEE IF HE STILL WANTED TO GET IT. THE OWNER SAID HE WAS GOING TO PUT IT ON DISPLAY WHILE I CALLED MY HUSBAND TO SEE WHAT WE WERE GOING TO DO AND IF I DECIDE TO TAKE IT FOR THAT PRICE HE WOULD ORDER MY DAUGHTER ONE AND IT'LL TAKE 4 MONTHS TO GET IT....THE PEOPLE @ DEBI'S ARE SCAMMERS! more

These people are crooks and this is what happened to me.I would give it 0 stars !measured my daughter and they ordered the wrong size dress said no refunds after 600.00 dollar deposit. Staff rude, did not say gown was made for a person up to 5'9. My daughter is 5'8 and told them she would be wearing heels. Crooks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reported to bbb. Poor business practice.DON""T USE!!!! more

___________________________________________\r The Debis on 309 NW Loop 410: This is a true bridal shop! Its in a classier location & a much larger, brighter, and cleaner store. The seamstress & owner are such classy & professional ladies. \r \r The seamstress worked wonders on my dress: she replaced the back zipper & added a corset so its romantic style now plus I can fit into it better! \r \r **The pics I added are of the 309 Loop 410 store (near Northstar mall)** \r ___________________________________________\r \r The Debis on SW Military drive: Offers an excellent selection of bridal gowns, but be warned this is a busy shop especially on a saturday w/ alot of teenagers & their moms buyng prom gear. I could see where a bride might feel frustrated w/ her experience here, however the staff tries to assist as best as they can. If you have not been able to find your dream dress anywhere else, try this place. \r ___________________________________________\r \r Bottom line: I was able to find a gorgeous gown for less than $900, which cookie-cutter type stores such as David's Bridal & Alfred Angelo did not have. I highly suggest both locations for your search. Pros: Variety of selections at mid-prices (both locations) Cons: The Military drive store is hectic & a bit frustrating. more

Never in my life have I had to deal with a more incompetent staff in my life. They literally did not get one thing right with my Quinceanera. From the dress, to the date of, to the accessories, or even my Quince doll. The entire experience was comical at best. When I finally just asked for my money back the owner, at least he said he was, just more or less told us - tough!!\r \r Being my family is full of attorneys I just politely told him I would be suing him. He laughed and said go ahead. I get sued all the time and I never have to pay. \r \r Yeesh what a place. You have been warned.. Stay away for your own good.\r Pros: Pretty Dresses... Its hard to believe the negative reviews of the Debis are Military Drive. Sure, everyone has their own experience, but I have nothing but high praises for this place. I walked in on a Saturday (no appointment) & everyone was busy w/ what looked like either prom or ""Quincera"" customers. I felt out of place but then again, I didnt schedule an appointment. I walked up to the man behind the counter (the owner I think) & asked for a sales lady. As soon as he learned I was a bride he dropped what he was doing & quickly asked a sales lady to asist me. I dont even know if she was busy but she helped me and did not rush me to select dresses - she was awesome & so friendly. \r \r I did find my PERFECT dress on my first visit!! But since its 2 inches too small, they called me the next day & suggested they can make the back into a corset so it can close that way w/ some wiggle room. I was thrilled. \r \r They didnt have to do that, they could have pushed another dress on me, but they knew I wanted this one. Highly reccommend this bridal shop. \r \r They have a nice selection of dresses in various sizes. They also have a large catalog w/ current designers/styles & you can special order - if you give them enough time prior to your wedding date. \r \r Pros: Helpful staff - very patient even on a busy saturday! Cons: Not in a glamerous location but who cares I found my dress! more

Don't expect a good experience. I put my dress on layaway and put down $200, which was about 25% of the total cost of the dress. I did not *SIGN* any contract that said my $$ was not refundable. I was also told by the OWNER and several of the employees that the dress could not be ordered until I had paid for at least half of the dress. They went and ordered the dress anyway, without calling to ask my permission. Now my fiance has been deployed and we're having to cancel our wedding and they refuse to give me MY $$ back because of their error. STAY AWAY. FAR AWAY. more

They will be helpful and friendly with your sizes, and then apparenty throw their brains out the window. All four bridesmaids dresses were COMPLETELY OFF size! And I'm not saying that people gained or lost weight, I'm saying that they sent people who were sizes 6/8 size 16 dresses! Oh, and then guess what? THEY WON'T DO REFUNDS AND CHARGE FOR ALTERATIONS! They will be very rude on the phone and ""point you towards their policy"" and that's it. Now four bridesmaides who have already paid for their dresses have to pay for additional alterations.\r I highly suggest shopping elsewhere. Pros: ...... Cons: Where to start? more
