Deals is the BEST dollar store that I have ever been to. They have everything! I've gotten various things for my home, from decorative items to necessities like cleaning supplies. And their food selection is great! I've been able to find plenty of things that can be brought to work and eaten either as a snack or a small meal. It's also a great place to stock up on essentials. Their fresh food isn't always the freshest, but that's to be expected. I was craving a salad one day and purchased a bag of lettuce that had a sell-by date of that day. When the cashier noticed that it didn't have much life left in it, she marked it down to $.25. Very unexpected, and very appreciated! I take all my friends here when they visit from out of town. more

I can't tell you the things I have gotten here. This place is insane. I drive frm West Allis all the way to Brown Deer to go here. Can't spend less than $30 in this store! Last summer I got $26.00 bottles of professional tanning lotion here! I also went once and they had 1 lb boxes of shrimp! If you are a bargain hunter and haven't been here, go now! more

It is a spin off from the sav a lot stores. Sav a lot starting carry dollar items and before you knew it they had opened up their own dollar store. This is the only one in the Milwaukee area. Its actually spelled DEALZ with a Z on the end. They do carry some of the same food items as sav a lot does, but you will find the prices to either be higher or lower, as they round it all to a buck. The store can get quite messy. And I dont think they have as big of a staff of workers as most dollar stores do. Good selection and variety. They also get closeouts from big retailers too. more

Wow. This store is unreal. I go to Deals a few times a week because of the great deals. I have found things that blew me away. I was shopping at Pick n Save and was leaving and happened to run into this store. For a dollar store its pretty clean. The thing that blew me away was that I found four things i just got done spending anywhere from $3 -$5 for at Pick N Rip Off at Deal$ for a DOLLAR! Yeah you might have to dig through the baskets and they have 20 different things in them, but as their overhead announcement says "Its like a Treasure Hunt." and it is. The folks that work there are pretty nice and its amazing how they all can help you out and know their store. (I see them shopping too lol). Theres a man there in the morning thats always nice to me and my father (manager?) and he always points out his newest deals. If you haven't shopped here. You have to !! more

Deals, in my book, is easily one of the top 5 dollar stores that I've ever been to. You can get food, gifts, candles, birthday cards, picture frames, beverages, and all for just 99 cents. Sometimes they even have closeout jewelry from mall stores that would normally cost over $20. I've gotten so many great deals at Deals that I recommend it to anyone who likes to shop frugally. Sometimes the produce sucks but they make up for it everywhere else. Like other reviews have said you may want to go during off peak hours or it can tend to get rather busy. more

Okay, you HAVE to go here. I am the bargain queen... And I highly recommend this shop. This is a spin of Sav-A-Lot. And it is owned by them. You can get Sav-A-Lot brand groceries in here even cheaper! Unreal huh? Produce, baked goods, dairy, frozen foods and novelties.....and then you have all the dollar bargains like at the other dollar stores! Now, this store can get quite dirty, but come on folks... they are always busy. Get there early in the day if you only shop at a neat and pristine store. The bargains are worth the drive. I tend to shop at dollar stores for good finds and I always find something here that I could use, not everything is cheap, you can find some brand name items here. The store is rather clean for a dollar store, and YES everything is a dollar. Their cashiers are friendly and prompt. The only thing I don't care for is to keep costs down they have a coin operated cart area. You put in money to get a cart and when you return the cart you'll get your money back. It's very cheap but I haven't used it. This is a great place for wrapping supplies and balloons!! Why pay more than a buck if it's just going to get thrown away?! more
