Amazing flower boutique! 3/17/2008

I got married last October and our flowers were beautiful! Clover and her team were awesome...they suggested the perfect flowers and within my budget...and I had a tight budget. \r Our wedding was in Palm Springs, so I was kinda worried about my flowers drying out...since it's a two hour drive and in the desert, BUT they lasted all day...PERFECTLY! \r Believe me, weddings are always hectic for a bride- but I didn't have to worry one bit about my flowers!\r \r I also order flowers for my boss and friends on a regular basis- I'm always taken care of, not too mention their flowers are sooo unique. I love, love, love their designs! Thank you guys. Keep up the good work! more

Sorry but we have to respond 9/15/2007

Dear Tiffany,\r You are absolutely right. Your cost cutting process took weeks. You held the date without disclosing what your real budget was and you were disingenuous, making gradual cuts up to the last minute. When you were done, you had cut out the centerpieces, cake table, cocktail tables, entry arrangement, flower girls, bathroom flowers, end tables... \r When your cost cutting got to a point where I did not feel comfortable doing your wedding, I did not get upset with you for all the time wasted. Instead, because I care, it was I who referred you to one of the best florists, Mark?s Gardens, because they are closer to your venue. But you insisted, and it being so close to your wedding I relented. \r We are not all that expensive and have done weddings for $3000 for brides who gushed at the result. But never had we been subjected to such a slow, gradual, and now I?m inclined to think, premeditated grinding.Citysearch does not leave us the space to explain what really happened, but Insider Pages does and we have replied to you ind detail there. Nevertheless, we are grateful for the experience because you were an inspiration to us. After your wedding we rewrote our entire booking policy, terms and conditions, so as to never be subjected to this again.\r \r P.S. The phone number in the listing for us is wrong. more

Avoid for wedding flowers 9/2/2007

Because of my neg experience, I was compelled to sign up & explain. Yes their florals are lovely, but their customer service LACKS. Pure novices.\r \r In March I inquired w/ owner to do my June wedding. I explained I didn't need a lot because it was in nature. Cool. \r \r I finally received a quote in early May. At $8k+, it was for everything imaginable, which was ok--I wanted to see what she came up with. During this time she was nice & reasonable. \r \r When I began to cut items from quote I started to get the cold shoulder. I was passed to a B level assistant...who wasn't swift. Because I was a low priority to them, this quote-cutting process took weeks. \r \r 3 WEEKS before my wedding, I finally knocked the floral budget down to reasonable $2k. I was put back in touch with the owner. She e-mailed me to explain if I further removed any more items from the quote, I would no longer be worth her time & should go elsewhere. I contemplated going with a different florist, but was too spent from wedding planning.\r \r My wedding day = disaster:\r ? I was never shown an example of what the bouquets would look like & was disappointed when they arrived. I asked for natural look--I received stiff flowers in a ""mound."" \r \r ? The owner refused to do part of her contract. When my mom pointed this out, owner said, ""If you would have paid more money, you would have gotten this!""\r \r ? I paid for (3) tall glass vases. (1) vase arrived broken, another one's bottom fell out when rocks were placed in it. No replacement was brought in for either. Could they use cheap, low-quality vases? \r \r ? I paid $500 for hanging mums in tree. The mums were only strung thru once w/ fishing line & not looped around or glued. By ceremony's end, most mums were on the ground.\r \r If you have a good budget for florals, you might get better treatment. If you don't, stay far away from Dandelion Ranch. They didn't seem to care about my needs...was obviously LOW priority. They only cared about my money. Pros: Floral arrangements Cons: Customer Service, Prices, Communication, Attitude more

Beautiful Flowers 8/8/2007

I really love the flowers at Boule Bakery and I got Dandelion Ranch's name from Boule. I called them to send a thank you gift. My friend RAVED about the flowers she got. A little annoying: they didn't answer the phone and I had to leave a message and it took them a couple hours to get back to me. They apologized and said it was because they were a design studio, not a retail shop, and have lots installations at restaurants to take care of so they can get very busy. Anyway, I saw the arrangement a couple days later at my friend's house and it was sooooooo beautiful and unique. Thank you Dandelion Ranch, you rock!!! Pros: Incredible flower arrangements Cons: Not inexpensive, a little hard ot get hold of more
