I don't know how this salon made it on the top ten. I went to the Katy location. My experience was disappointing. The management is abrupt. The atmosphere is cold, unfriendly, and snooty. When I asked for help on what to do with my hair color, the owner offered none, repeatedly saying""whatever you want"" while she was busy applying someone else's hair color.I was looking for advice from ""experts"" which is what you should get when you spend $75 for single all over color. The only thing I specified was I didn't want brassiness.Nevertheless, we settled on a color. When it was rinsed out, my roots were much ligher than the rest of my hair, and they were an orangey,BRASSY,copper color.I pointed it out and the stylist said,""oh, it just looks that way because of the lighting"".They recommended a conditioning treatment bragging that it was done with a $250 bottle of conditioner, trying to make me feel I was getting a bargain paying $55 for a few teaspoons.Ya right! the owner said not to rinse it-that my hair was so unhealthy, the oils needed to soak in.So,I left with a wet, oily head and orange roots.I thought maybe once my hair was dry the color would blend.Um, no.My roots are still much lighter which easily could have been avoided had the colorist known even a little about what she was doing. She left the color on my virgin roots for way 2 long, and everyone knows virgin hair absorbs more color.Oh ya,initially I went in for hi-lights,but they talked me out of it despite insisting,""whatever you want"".They said my hair had too many colors already and that I would first need a single all over color. After the all over color, they said your hair is 2 unhealthy 4 highlights so u need the conditioning treatment.Honestly I think they were ready 2 leave for the day & figured the treatment was nearly the same price as hilights but would take less time.So they made out good. Not me, $140 later, I have a hair color I hate & a nagging feeling that I got screwed big time.Don't make the same mistake!
