Cyber-Dogs Internet Cafe

Hole in the wall lunch spot offering vegetarian and vegan hot dogs downtown (right near the convention center). The place also offers internet access for a reasonable rate or free if you eat there. It is cool that they only offer veggie hot dogs, though I will say I walked in originally hoping for some pork and/or beef-alicious dogs. I ordered a plain jane with cheese and it was quite tasty, not soggy or rubbery like other reviews. Prices are only ok (lunch for about $5-6). My experience with staff was good, though I see others had a bad time. Quirky atmostphere and good ambiance. more

Cyber Dogs is a little hole in the wall veggie hot dog stand downtown Seattle nestled under neither the towering arch of the convention center. They serve every style of hot dog in a veggie form. Many of the dished you can get served vegan including a vegan cheese substitute which is delicious. I used to love this little restaurant until a month ago I went in with a friend who had never been there before. my friend started asking questions about the menu and which thing were vegan. He wasn't being overly annoying or invasive I didn't think. When he asked the lady if the chili was vegan she reply very rudely, "What would be in chili that's not vegan?!" She made such a huge deal about this question that he didn't think to ask for his dog w/out cheese. When he got it it had a light spread of cheese on it and my friend didn't notice. He ate half the dog before realizing that is was real cheese not the "fake" cheese that she had mentioned. He was so irritated that we just left. I mean we didn't even want to talk to her again the way she snapped at us. I will never go there again, even though the food is amazing. more

So, I read all about Cyber-dogs before I went to check it out. Everyone said fantastic things about this lil veggie-dog cyber spot and I was eager to bite one of those dogs! I gave it three tries, and something was up with my veggie dog! I mean either the bun was nuked too much and tough as a shoe, or it was soggy like a sponge where it met the dog. I tried three kinds for dogs, and they all had the promise of being super delish. If only my buns weren't messed up! They'd have been phenomenal! more

Absolutely the best hot dogs around! I agree, they are a little odd and crazy looking - but you'll quickly get over that. The atmosphere is wonderful and the employees are prompt and friendly. FREE internet service available too! Grab a dog and a coffee, log on to the net and have a peaceful time here at Cyber Dogs. You'll enjoy it! more

Cyber Dogs is a great place to grab a quick bite in downtown. Their menu is pretty impressive for a place that only sells hot dogs. All the dogs are vegetarian, and many are vegan, but even the most ardent meat lover might have a hard time telling the difference if they don't know. Service is quick and quirky, with internet access available while you eat. The owner is very sweet and outgoing. She might even help you meet your mate. This is definately not your basic hotdog stand. Try the doggie lama, it's enlightening! more
