When we first contacted Cyber Visions, we were only supposed to be changing an outlet, and we ended paying twice the amount initially quoted. Apparently, there was a second outlet that needed to be repaired and it was a lot more complex than the first one. I understood the job being done, but in my judgment I should have denied this second repair. So, I should not blame them for this extra work, but I do rate them 4 stars for the price.
In addition, the 3 gentleman that came to my house were very polite and professional. However, I think they were tired because they ended staying at my house the whole day. And, when they tried changing the bulb in the outdoor light, they broke the light and ended up calling me to get masking tape. I have to call a new electrician to replace that broken part that is now covered with masking tape.
I feel like I missed a bit on good customer experience. I had no intention being at my house for the entire day just to change an outdoor light. Thus, I would like to emphasize that my intent is not to reprimand them. Instead, I would like to make the company aware of educating their clients in regards to the change in prices and quotes. In our case, we were not planning to spend this type of money during this time of year; them breaking our light made it even more disturbing.
Lastly, I would suggest they give the customer the option of saying if they want to proceed with a repair or not. And, I do have a one last compliment for Daryl, the manager, who came by to see the light that had to be replaced, which did not turn on, so he came quickly the next day to repair it. I appreciated that type of follow up.
