Great views 7/7/2008

The view from my room at the Crowne Plaza Seattle was breathtaking, and probably the highlight of my vacation. The Space Needle is one of my favorite landmarks. The monorail is very close to the hotel so its easy to just hop on there and it will take you to the Space Needle and the rest of Downtown Seattle. The hotel itself was upscale, I was able to get a lot of work done, and had wireless internet access. My room was spacious and comfortable. If I?m on business in Seattle I would try and stay at this hotel again. Pros: breathtaking views, great location in seattle Cons: A more reasonable price more

Just perfect 3/21/2008

My husband and I just returned from your trip to Seattle and the Crowne Plaza. The hotel is in a great location letting my husband literally walk to the Convention Center. I was also able to walk to all of the main things I wanted to see during the trip so there was no need for us to bother with a rental car. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a pretty good view of the city; you could see the Space Needle from ours. It was a great choice for both my husbands business and my ?play time? and I would suggest it to future guests for either reason. more

Great Hotel all around! 2/15/2008

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Seattle and had a great experience. The room had a great view of the city and was very comfortable, particularly large. My family and I also enjoyed the location. We were able to walk to just about everything downtown as well as the Pikes Market area. Checking in and out was smooth and quick and all-in-all it was a great stay all around. more

Awful experience 6/28/2007

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza the last week in June. What a lousy way to end a stay in a beautiful city. The valet wanted us to leave our car unattended on the street in a city that ranks high in stolen vehicles. The front desk was extemely unhelpful, stating that since we booked on Priceline we got a standard room meaning two beds despite having called ahead and requesting a king (not a problem for any other hotel that we had booked through Priceline). Our room was right in front of the elevators and next to the housekeeping closet. The housekeeping staff were talking loud enough at 11:30 P.M that it woke us and then they had the audacity to knock on the door saying "linens" despite the do not disturb sign clearly posted on the door (we had a 900+ mile drive the next day and needed a good nights rest). If I could give less than 1 star I would. Everything costs, internet, the business center. Having stayed at the Sheraton down the street the previous two nights (we had to extend our stay in the city and had to change hotels) it was like night and day. Being a native Seattlelite I expected more from this establishment and was sorely disappointed. We have stayed at numerous 4 and 5 star hotels (Alexis, Inn @ the Market, Edgewater etc.) in the city and this one by far was the least appealing and helpful. And all because it appears that we booked on Priceline. We won't be booking here and possibly will refrain from using Priceline while in Seattle all due to this experience. Convenient downtown location 6/1/2005

Our two-room experience with this hotel was very good, except for one major glitch, I suppose that could happen to anyone...the "duh" carpark valet staff locked my nephew's keys in his SUV, which took lots of wait time to correct...they did feed us for free to try to make up for the inconvenience. The hotel rooms were quite nice, we had a wonderful urban view, and the food was very tasty. I am the business traveler of the bunch, and I was fine with it, and plan to stay there again. The value was good as well. Pros: Food, Urban views, Service & Room Cons: Valet park staff more
