When I got laid off it was just my wife?s salary and my UC that we had to live on and the bills started piling up like falling leaves in the yard. The more you blow them away the more they pile up. I could no longer make any headway. We were literally suffocating in our bills. I was reading an online forum about getting out of debt and they were talking about debt settlement. One of the companies was NY credit repair and settlement specialist Credit 911. I went online and found them and set up a free consultation. The counselor explained how they could negotiate with the credit card companies and set us up in a plan that would work for us. We joined the program and are heading towards being debt free in a year or two. more

I was so feeling better already. 1/30/2012

I was getting calls everyday at work from collection people. Some of them acted like my best friends and some were just plain nasty. They were all trying to get me to pay my last dollar to them. I was so sick of their nonsense. They were lowlifes that acted like anyone who lost their job was beneath them. Once I got into the debt settlement program with Credit 911 the NYC debt settlement specialists they all went away. I was so feeling better already. Then I was set up with a payment schedule that I could afford. Thank you Credit 911. more

It was no big deal. 1/26/2012

When we were both working good jobs and bought our house we bought furniture and lawn equipment and appliances. It was no big deal because we were bringing in the money and thought it would last forever. It didn?t but the bills seemed to. We started struggling to make our mortgage and could not make even the minimum payments on our cards and some were eventually sold to collectors who called everyday. I had enough and called Credit 911 to see what they could do. We met with a counselor who determined exactly what we could afford and negotiated our debts down to that monthly payment. When we are earning good money again we will never let this happen. more
