I'm sure there are worse kennels on the Main Line, but I'm sure that there are better. How it won Main Line Life's ""Best Kennel"" award for the past several years is beyond me! ...

PLEASE READ B4 BOARDING 11/22/2008

I was reffered to Molly's by a friend who's mother is a vet. She has never boarded her dog there but nows that several clients with in her mother's practice send their pets there. They had a great website which detailed all the activities and painted a wonderful, loving environment. I had an appt set to board my dog for 9 days while I was on vacation. I drove to Molly's to drop my dog off a few hrs before I had to fly out of town. I was absolutely disgusted once I got there!!! It was so bad that I refused to leave my dog there and almost missed my flight due to the fact that I had to find a new place to board her. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG HERE! I got roped into the wonderful picture that the website painted...it is far from wonderful. We got a little lost finding the place and called to ask them to wait 5 mins for us since we were dropping her off right b4 their mid-day shut down. They were extremely rude, said too bad and hung up the phone. The web-site says that there is 24hr monitoring of the pets, but when we got there the office was shut down. I had no idea and walked into the unlocked front office door which set off the security alarm. There was no one in sight (even though we were only 5 mins late) and the alarm was blaring. As I was walking back to my car, I saw 2 feet peeking out from the side of the building and found an employee sleeping on the ground outside. I woke him up and explained how I opened the door n set off alarm. He had no way of turning off alarm or checking my dog in b/c he was locked out of the building for the next 2 hrs and his coworker was at home on lunch w/keys. He even had to use my phone to call and have alarm shut off b/c he didnt even have a phone. I was furious to hear that the daily routine was to lock the dogs in the building unsupervised for 2hr lunch. I asked if this is the only time they are left alone n he went silent. I never got to see the inside of the facility but had no need to at that point! Cons: cust service and false advertisement more

Meets bare minimum 6/25/2007

I'm sure there are worse kennels on the Main Line, but I'm sure that there are better. How it won Main Line Life's ""Best Kennel"" award for the past several years is beyond me! Being new to the area and not knowing anyone else who has boarded their dog, I was swayed by the ""Best Kennel"" advertisement. I think it is a servicable place that provides food shelter and water.... and even that I somewhat question (the food part). Pros: Low cost; Property is nice Cons: Quality of care; Open 9 - 5 more
