I have used Cooper Moving 5-6 times over the past 15 years and they have been phenomenal. The one time that we did not use them, most of our stuff got damaged and after that we went back to Cooper Moving. We did not use Cooper Moving that one time because the company that my husband was working for had a contract with another moving company so they paid for our move and we had to use the contracted company. We have used Cooper Moving on 5 separate moves over the past 20 years. 4 of the moves were as our family grew and we moved into larger homes and 1 move was when my office relocated. Our moves have always gone smoothly and efficiently. We have some high end furnishings and glass collectibles in our home which I am always scared to death to have moved but Cooper's crew have always handled these items with much care, putting them on the truck last and bringing them in first. I have learned to relax now after so many moves by Cooper Moving. Being a seasoned (ie: mature/older) person, I understand the importance of communication in my desires and expectations with the people I employ. Mr. Cooper is very knowledgeable and fair in his rates and his office manager, John, is always on call and ready to assist me with needing more boxes, paper, etc. My family will always call on Cooper Moving to help with ourmoving needs. As a matter of fact, our daughter recently married and we will be calling Cooper Moving to come get her furnishings to take them to her new home once she and her husband get back from their honeymoon. We have always been very pleased with the services provided by Cooper Moving and we will continue to call on them for all our moving needs. more

We have used Cooper Moving to move us 4 times now since 1996, once from Memphis to Chattanooga, then back to Memphis, then twice across Memphis to different homes. Each time we were nervous about our move and scared of all the horror stories you hear people say about movers breaking things, but WOW... they put all our fears to rest, showed up on time, totally professional, extremely fast on the move, and most of all... handled our personal things as if they were moving their own stuff! Our move was especially scary because we are I.T. professionals so we have a lot of expensive electronic equipment that had to be moved with extreme care or it would cost us a fortunate to replace, we had zero, I repeat zero issues, not one item of ours was damaged, not so much as a scratch. We will certainly use them every time we move. Hopefully the first reviewer does not turn you off, I have never heard of a bad move from Cooper. Best wishes! more

This moving experience was easily the worst I've ever experienced personally. The end result was 1. Working late because they showed up late. 2. Damage to everything they touched 3. Run around by management when concerns were voiced 4. Complete waste of time for which I paid the full price. Damage to equipment easily exceeded $500. Wasted hours of our time by showing up 2 full hours late and they never even called to warn us they were late. Moveres complained the entire time, checking their phone throughout the process. Cut-off the move early because they damaged so much stuff we wanted to cut our losses. Voiced concerns with management, which kept passing the phone off to the next manager so the story had to be retold multiple times. Still invoiced for full amount. more

I was given a quote and MANY option for a moving day/time. The movers showed up on the arranged day EARLY and were all very kind. The movers listened to my instruction, packed everything very quickly (and carefully), and actually beat me to the new house! Cooper made my move easy when everything else about that day was crazy. more
