Even though our home was built in 1997, several rooms felt rather ""drafty"". Especially in the winter months, while sitting at our kitchen table for dinner or in our living room enjoying a movie, we would often feel a cool, uncomfortable current run through the room. We decided it was time for new windows and after much research, we decided to contract with Conservation Construction. CC offered the best quality windows for the best value. They even allowed us to lock in the low first year rate but break our project into several phases over several years. The installation process was quick and easy. Our sales guy, Matt, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, while the installer was very clean, polite and skilled. The new windows made a huge difference in the comfort of our home, both in the winter (eliminating the drafts) and in the summer (deflecting the hot sun away from our home). We are extremely happy with Conservation Construction and would highly recommend them to our family and friends. more

When the Conservation Construction sales rep knocked on my front door, I admit I was a bit skeptical. I do not usually take into consideration doing business with a door to door or front door flier company, but we were in the market for new windows so I took his information, said I would look into it, and get back to them. And then I did some research. I made some calls and decided to hear what they had to say. We have been very pleased with our Conservation Construction windows. We had them installed in two separate batches to help with costs and they were very creative and competitive in keeping the prices affordable. The installers were great. They were there on time, cleaned up afterwards, asked my opinion for the inside look of the framing and were professional and good natured. If I had to do it all over, I would absolutely call back Conservation Construction. And the best part is the savings we have seen in both our heating and cooling bills. more

I love Conservation construction. Here is a follow up note I sent to CC in May 2013:\r \r ""I just wanted to drop a note to you and the Conservation Construction crew. We had our new windows installed in April 2012. We love the windows and really liked working with you guys. Everything happened as scheduled . Kirk and the crew who installed the windows were very efficient, professional and extremely helpful. Since then you crew came back to fix a window you discovered and a couple of other times just to see if we were still satisfied. It I obvious form everything you have done right down to the lifetime warranty that you don’t just sell windows, you stand behind your product . In addition to the looks, we bought the windows for energy efficiency. I compared the electric bills April 2011 through March 2012 to April 2012 to March 2013 the result was an annual decrease of 3312 KWH. That reduction resulted in an annual savings of $1,133.52 which is about 33%!! Bottom line the house looks great, cooler in the summer , more cozy in the winter and more energy efficient.""\r \r We had only replaced the east and south facing windows at that time. As a result of the performance we experienced, (Dan said expect 20 to 25%, we got 33%), we replaced the remaining windows July 2013. Same great service and professionalism as our first experience AND a lifetime guarantee.\r \r I would recommend Conservation Construction to anyone considering window replacement. more

We purchased our home in 1994. Our son worked in the construction business and told us after we bought the house, that our windows were “builder grade.” We soon found out that this means the windows are sub standard. We replaced 4 windows on our own, and they were not much better.\r \r A friend recommended Conservation Construction and we met with Daniel, one of their salesman. He was knowledgeable and we decided to replace a few windows. The windows are made in Loveland, Colorado, and the craftsmanship is excellent. They have their own installer, and he was able to quickly and efficiently replace the four windows we purchased. The installer explained how the windows worked and why we had problems with our old windows. With the expense of replacing windows we budgeted the replacement over 4 years. All 18 of our windows have been replaced and the cold and drafts are gone.\r \r Whenever we have had any questions about our windows, Conservation Construction quickly responded and answered any questions and fixed any issues we had with the windows. I would highly recommend this company for their thoroughness, honesty and the quality of their work. more

We met our salesman, Matt, about 6 years ago now after a door-to-door walker told me about Conservation Construction. Our home was built in 1999, and the windows have never been efficient so we were willing to give it a try. We have been replacing all of our windows in groups of 5 or 6 ever since on an annual basis to stay within our budget. I appreciate that Conservation lets us do this at the same price we agreed upon at our first meeting. We were not in any way obligated to continue buying windows from them after the first installation, but we did because they are everything they advertise. The quality and installation of the windows have been worth every penny. We even had a pellet shot through one of our windows just a couple of months after installation, and Conservation replaced it for free. The heat lamp demonstration during our initial sales call seemed a bit hokey to me at the time, but after seeing it happen in real life made me a believer. I even had neighbors come over and feel the floor where the southern sun was shining through on a hot summer day. It wasn't even warm. I did not compare to windows from Lowes & Home Depot because I have heard that those will just need replacing after a few years anyway, and we were looking for a long-term fix. I did get estimates from Champion & Anderson at the time, and they were way too high for us, plus they were not made here in Colorado. Because of our elevation, I was worried about the integrity of the gas that is injected between the panes of glass. I highly recommend Conservation Construction based on the quality of their windows, the fact that they are made here in Colorado, the professionalism of their staff, and the relationship we have made with our salesman. more

We contracted with Conservation 2 years ago to start replacing the 1985 original construction grade windows in our home. The 5 year contract has made it possible for us to replace 11 windows so far. Just a few more to go next year and we are done. Matt, our sales guy was fun to work with and very knowledgable. Jim and Justin are the installation techs and the workmanship was perfect. My neighbor next door is a contractor and commented that your company did an outstanding job. We have shown off these windows to all of our neighbors, and the one across the street just did her whole house. Great product and great staff to work with. more

We had some hail damage last summer and we decided to replace our windows with a better quality window than what the builder had installed. We had two windows replaced and a very large sliding glass door. The sliding glass door was letting such a draft come through we could see it blowing our blinds. With the new windows our west facing window over the kitchen and dining room kept the heat out this past summer. So far, it has been keeping the cold draft out as well! We have been so impressed with the customer service and quality of workmanship we recently replaced 5 more windows. The windows are so easy to open and close and cleaning the track as well as the glass could not be any easier! It is so nice to have windows we can see out of again without the condensation. We could not be any happier with Conservation Construction and cannot wait until we can start the next few phases and complete the replacement of the last of our windows. I would highly recommend Conservation Construction to anyone looking to repair or replace windows in their home. We have referred them to all our neighbors and friends and will continue to do so. It is so nice to finally work with a company who stands up to the highest quality of workmanship and does what they say they will do when they say they will do it! Job well done!! more

We have had 4 windows and a patio door replaced by conservation construction in 2 phases. I was impressed by the heat lamp demonstration comparing the new windows with our existing windows. The workmanship for both installations was satisfactory and we are pleased with the results. Our house is quieter with the windows closed and certainly more energy efficient. We plan to finish upgrading our windows in 2 more phases.\r \r Installation communication was excellent, we have recommended you to our neighbors.\r \r more

I've been a customer of Conservation Construction for a few years. It started with a knock at the door. I let them call me soon after and met with their salesman. My wife and I decided to start off slow and replace a single window so we could judge the quality and installation/professionalism of the windows and Conservation. They did an excellent job! My home was built in 1996. The builder put in the standard ""builders special"" windows. Because Colorado is a harsh climate, the seals on the original windows and sliding glass doors failed and they didn't have UV protection which let the sun eat through the finish on my wood floor in the kitchen. The replacement window made a HUGE difference in the temperature comfort of the room as well as we immediately noticed less ambient noise from outside. In 2011, we had a major hail storm which destroyed our roof and damaged a sliding glass door and windows. We had Conservation Construction replace the door and 13 windows. It took about 1 month for all of the materials to arrive but they installed everything in one day. Again the quality of the installation was excellent and the hauled all the old stuff away. We recently ordered 3 more windows. There is an enormous difference between a $500 windows at Lowe's or Home Depot and the Conservation windows and our energy bills have decrease significantly. more

To Whom It May Concern,\r \r We are very pleased to post this as a recommendation for Conservation Construction and their future clients.\r \r Being in a neighborhood built in the 70’s, replacement windows companies were targeting our neighborhood in recent years. We made an appointment with one of these companies. They started to call every week after our appointment and finally the salesperson actually got rude because we didn’t sign a contract right away. Then one day a young man came to our door and gave us a folder filled with information about their windows at Conservation Construction. A salesperson called and I talked to him and I requested that he give us until the following year, when we would be ready money-wise. He called us at the beginning of the year and we set another appointment. We were impressed right away, first with the salesperson and then with the quality of the windows he was selling. \r \r We had them replace all of the windows in our house, twelve in total, to replace the ones forming excessive condensation and leaking. We could not be happier with the end results. Our windows went from a dark gray aluminum to a brilliant vinyl white and it is amazing how big a difference the new windows make in our house. It looks like a new house, with added curb appeal and we are extremely satisfied.\r \r The windows we ordered were actually custom made for us and not sitting around a warehouse gathering dust. Not only did the salesperson measure the windows, but the job foreman came out and measured them again. We are now able to see outside without condensation blocking our view and have eliminated the draft that was coming in through the existing windows, too. They look beautiful (both inside and out) and we have noticed a difference in temperature in all the rooms, as well as, lower heating and cooling energy bills, too. \r \r Thank you Conservation Construction for a great job you did in making our house not only better looking, but also more efficient. The workmen were very professional, polite, timely and unobtrusive. They worked quickly, neatly and efficiently. The cleanliness, care of the work site and our home was very much appreciated. You could not tell that anyone had done any work. \r \r Everyone we worked with from the salesperson, all the way through the process to the final inspection, epitomized professionalism. \r \r We really appreciated the level of communication all through the process, keeping us well informed every step of the way. To say we’re pleased would be an understatement. \r \r The experience with them was a pleasant and painless one. We have no problems recommending Conservation Construction to our friends and neighbors. \r \r Steve and Linda, in Littleton\r more

We used Conservation Construction to install 21 homes in our 18 year old house 6 years ago. Their bid came in about middle of all that we got and their customer service is outstanding. It has been such a positive experience for us that we had them install the last 4 windows in our basement this past summer. At the time of the installation, they went around and checked all of their previous window installations and repaired for free on the site two screens that my dog had ruined. I won't need windows again for many years, but when I do, I plan to call them. more

Love this company and their product. We have completed phase 2 of our 3 phase project and we are thrilled. This company does what they say, are easy to work with and the windows are awesome. Do yourself a favor and speak with these folks before you make a huge investment! more

Replacing the windows was not a priority - until one very cold winter. I had no idea how drafty my ""builder quality"" windows really were until then. I visited the Conservation Construction table at the local Home & Garden show and set an appointment to get an estimate. I was surprised at how expensive windows can be, but even more surprised by how ""quality"" can be defined. They took the measurements and contacted me when they were ready to install. They were in and out in about an hour. Their plan let me replace a few windows at a time - which allowed for me to better budget such a large project. A couple of years later, and I have noticed my heating bill isn't quite so high anymore. more

Horrible, high pressure tactics to get you to sign up as a customer, bordering on the stalker/abusive side of the spectrum. calls at all hours, lurking outside my home - the only way I got rid of them was to very obviously take down all employee and vehicle info, including photos, and threaten to call the police. more

This company contacted us directly at our home asking if we were interested in new siding, doors, and windows. When my husband said no, they asked if they could call us back in 6 months. Sure, he said. 10 days later he got a phone call asking to set up an in-home meeting. He told them he asked the original salesman to call us in 6 months. We are expecting our first child and it just wasn't good timing. About five days later he got another call from someone wanting to set up an in home meeting, and this time he gave in. They said we would get a quote that was good for a year, plus a 25% discount. Please note they called during dinner each time. Then, the same night, about an hour and a half later we get another phone call from their scheduler confirming all the details, again, that the first caller had confirmed already. When they found out my husband would be the only one home during the meeting, they cancelled the appointment. My husband explained that I work weekends, and during the week we are busy preparing for the arrival of our little one. But for some reason they need both husband and wife at home for a quote. \r \r I am so annoyed at their customer recruitment practices that I will never, ever use this company. They bother us during dinner, despite the fact that we asked them to contact us back in 6 months. Then when we give in and take a meeting, they cancel it. I found them to be very pushy and not respectful of me as a potential customer. more

Dishonest and Unprofessional. I was quoted a window price and paid a deposit. Days later I received a call and was told that they couldn't do the window because I wanted clear glass. I said the glass could be tinted and they said they still couldn't do the window. When I asked if they just quoted too low, they admitted they had. I asked them not to lie to me, and to refund my deposit, which they had already cashed. more
