Conner Remodeling

I have to disagree with the previous review. We hired Conner to remodel our basement a few years ago, after they did a beautiful job on a friend's kitchen. They aren't cheap, but Denny & the designers were sensitive to our cost concerns and worked closely with us to make sure we got what we wanted but at a total cost we could afford. We never felt pressured to do something we didn't like, though we got frank advice about where we should and shouldn't be thrifty, for resale value and to avoid expensive problems down the road. To a person, workmen were efficient, polite, and did quality work. When a giant sinkhole was discovered under the house, involving the main support beam, it could have set us back weeks. Instead they got all the right people in to inspect, make a plan and shore up the foundation in less than a week. The project was still completed on time, and we couldn't be happier with the results. In fact, now we're hiring them for a kitchen remodel later this year. more

If you're looking for a project manager who yells at you when he doesn't agree with you, sub-standard subcontractors who do damage to parts of the house that aren't under construction, and constant mistakes (measuring mistakes, design errors, complete lack of attention to detail), these are your guys. With all of the awards they've received, we assumed they'd do good work. Sadly, it was a struggle from day one. Keep looking! more
