I saw Dr. Matta during the winter of 2004 after my family doc called his office and got me a quick appointment about a chronic problem that I've had.
Dr. Matta has a good bedside manner and is personable. He is a good listener and will explain things if needed.
He actually was quite thorough in that he used a diagnostic test to aid in trying to figuring out my problem. He was interested in trying different measures to see what might work in helping me. Unfortunately, I did not return to see him because of my spouse's job loss not long after that time.
His staff treated me in a caring manner as well.
I would use Dr. Matta again but am mainly under Dr. Janice Rafferty's care (colorectal surgeon at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati). I couldn't get into see Dr. Rafferty at that time because she is usually booked.
