I LOVE this vet clinic. 7/1/2013

I have 3 dogs and a cat. \r The clinic is modern, clean and conveniently located.\r The staff is exceptionally courteous, caring and helpful.\r The doctors took time to explain the illnesses and treatments.\r The practice does not do non-essential procedures or exams to inflate visit cost. For example, they called a former vet for results of blood work, prior to doing dental procedure, and they recommended a "wait and see" for my dog's knee injury (typically vets want to do surgery) and he healed up fine with no intervention needed. \r The cost is reasonable and sometimes discounts can be arranged.\r They have good hours (Saturdays too!) and it is not hard to get an appointment.\r I LOVE this vet. more

Positive Experience 9/4/2010

Transferred to Colma Pet Hospital from another clinic and found a very positive difference. They see my dog at the appointment time, do not tie me up when the visit is over, and Dr. Bhatri is very attentive. He explained my dog's problems in a clear way and was very responsive about the results when he needed some tests. They are also more affordable. more

My dog neglected and left to die 1/18/2010

Dr. Bahkiri neglected to write a prescription for a dog food, my dog needed. So, I changed him to another brand, then he got really sick. The vet bill was $5,000 to bring my dog back from death at Pets Unlimited. When I told them I was leaving them the following week, I asked my medical records to be transferred to Pets Unlimited. Months later they had not transferred my records and would not release the records to me. I was forced to lodge a complaint to the Board of Veterinarians for unethical conduct. After this they released my records, but only under great duress. The original Vet sold his business to Dr. Bahkiri, I did not select this Vet, I only inherited it from the previous Veterinary. Needless to say, this is the worse Veterinary clinic imaginable, and when I looked up licensing, I noticed other citations of illegal behavior by staff doctors. more

Colma Animal Hospital has EXCELLENT service! 9/25/2009

Dr. Bahkiri is very gentle with our pets. He takes time in answering all our questions and concerns. His staff are very polite and helpful. We're happy and satisfied with him and his staff. We highly recommend him and his clinic! more

We are very happy with Dr. Bahkiri he is very patient with Us and always answer all my questions.He take care my Baby's Max's a Golden Retriever. The staff are very friendly and I feel like home. God bless you Dr. Bahkiri for always help us with ours pets. more

Introducing TANK! 11/10/2008

We just got our english bulldog "Tank" weeks old. My husband and I met Dr. Bhakhri for the first time. He was very informative and helpful. He answered all our questions and he was very understanding of all our needs. He was very honest and I would not mind going back again to bring our other dog "Gizmo".\r \r Staff was also very friendly and very attentative. They all made us feel welcome. more

Dr.B and his staff are the most caring, professional, compassionate folks I've ever dealt with. Dr B doesn't rush thru the appointment, makes sure we understand treatments and alternatives. He does not push unnecessary procedures or meds.He's treated our cocker spaniels with such kindness and gives hope rather than despair. At the same time, he is honest and forthright. His fees are extremely fair.Facts that you need to know if you are thinking about Colma Animal Hospital, Dr, B is always just a phone call away. If his office is closed, he can be reached on his cell. I can't say enough about him, his staff and our complete faith in his judgement.For all of you cocker spaniel owners....we know how special our babies are...Dr B knows too. Lynne more

Wonderful Animal Hospital 5/25/2008

My family has been going to Dr. Bhakhri for about 2 years now, and we could not be happier!!! He and his staff are very compassionate and understanding. I especially love the fact that Dr. Bhakhri is very patient with all of my questions. He NEVER rushes me or makes me feel like i'm waisting his time. We have 3 cats and 1 dog, and whenever we need an appointment, we're always accommodated! In my opinion..Dr. Bhakhri and Dr. Warehime are the VERY BEST!!Thank you. The Grado Family more

Such a sweet place. Dr. Bahkiri happened to be the one to answer the phone when I called, asked a number of questions about my cat's issue. Staff was very friendly, Dr. Warehime was terribly kind and informative and patient. I'll go back with all my cats. more

highly recommend 12/10/2007

we bring our bulldogs to Dr Bhakiri...he's very knowledgeable and informative. he cuts right to the chase and doesn't was time or money on the treatment of our pets. my dog had kennel cough. every other vet wanted to run x-rays and blood work to prove that. Dr. Bhakiri saved me lots of money. He explained regardless of the findings it all boils down to anti biotics, so he prescribed the medicine and sure enough all dogs are healthy. more

ehhh 12/5/2007

i took my rott here until the day she passed. i stumbled across it as i need to get checked out for a limp. the staff changed here like every 3 months and from taking to the staff it was due to very low wages. the dr my pet seen was very nice but i felt this place was a money pit. he knew i wasnt a rich man and knew i would whatever it took for my rotts health. more

Great Vet and Great Staff 7/21/2007

I agree with one of the previous reviewers. The previous admin. staff was very rude, BUT the new admin. staff is great. A lot more personality. Dr. Bhaktri is very nice and is very attentive to our two dogs. I think this Animal Hospital is better than the one we used to patronize in Diamond Heights. Keep up the good work!!! more
