For my good friend, Mia's, big 30 birthday, she picked Circa to celebrate this special day. I made reservations for March 24th at 7:15pm for a table of 9 people online. Three of us got there around 7:15pm and got seated. The waitress took awhile to come to our table to take our orders for drinks. We asked the waitress for recommendation on a red and dry wine and she gave us her recommendation. 8pm all our parties (eight Chinese females) arrived and the manager, Alex, came over (appr. 8:00pm) and told us that we were late. He is expecting a party at 9:30 for the table we are sitting at. We ordered four appetitizers and choose a wine by 8:05pm. The wine came and it was extremely sour and the manager, Alex, came over and asked what was wrong with the wine (8:15pm)? We said, ""it is not what we wanted ""and he asked ""why didn't you ask for suggestion for the waitress?"" We replied, ""we did' and we asked for the check and that we will pay for only two of the four appetizers that came out and to cancel all other orders. We asked one of the server if the owner was there so we could speak to him but no one came to our aide. Finally the two hostess help us locate the owner. We told him that we did not know that restaurants have a time limit on the duration that you could stay. Also, they need to be customer oriented to survive especially since we had a large party and that no one knew that there was valet parking. We were extremely offended and the manager was discriminatory towards us. We told the owner that we are walking out due to bad service and left. The owner came after us with a card and offer to hook us up with free dinner at the restaurant of our choice. I been to fine dining(Ana Mandara, Boulevard, IL Fornaio, The House, Ponzul, Restaurant Lulu, Circolo, ISA and etc) and I never had the experienced were I felt like I was being kicked out. We end up eating at Amici's where we had great service and we tip the guy 40% for his excellent service. What a great birthday!!
Cons: WORST SERVICE EVER
