Just got home from Circa, Tuesday night with a 7pm reservation. No problem getting in but I'm sorry we bothered. First the good: The hostess was pleasant and efficient (although I never like being seated next to another party in an empty restaurant) and the bussers were superstars - friendly and quick. The bad and the ugly - our food was nothing special and our server was spectacularly bad. Unfriendly and patronizing, he screwed himself out of a decent tip every step of the way and didn't even thank us. We wanted some dessert wine and coffee but he dropped the check without a word the second our plates were cleared. I would give Circa another chance if not for him.
