If you're not a anorexic blonde, you're naturally inclined to hate the Marina crowd/scenes. But this new venue proves to provide above par with its service, and surprisingly good food with, well, not cheap but at least resonable tab. We ordered foie gras, scallops, heirloom tomato salad, lobster mac and cheese and for entrees tuna and duck breast. Foie gras was mediocre, scallops was too busy and overdone with flavors. but the lobster mac and cheese was a nice treat, taking the simple traditional comfort food to the next level. Duck breast was good too, not overcooked, and the sauce is far from the mistake of some overkill syrup many shi shi tapa/fusion eateries often make. Not perfect, but a pleasant experience nonetheless.
Pros: Nice ambience, decent food
Cons: limited cocktail menu
