Great place 12/29/2005

First off - just notice it's "SEAT YOURSELF" then you won't wait at the door like a dork (like me). After that - it's all smooth sailing. Menu items are great - the Halibut sandwhich was great. Fries are great. Salads are great. Crab cakes are WONDERFUL (really). Not just mayo and KRAB but real CRAB and not overly seasoned. Lots of great beers too. Enjoy! more

Circa in West Seattle 10/3/2005

This is a small, neighborhood restaurant. Mostly booths so large parties wouldn't work here - but the food is truly fantastic! I would recommend the steak and mashed potatoes - they have good beer on tap too. more

Great Neighborhood Spot 8/17/2005

My wife and I love going to CIrca for mid-week "too tired to cook" meals, and for Friday-night TGIF dinners with family. Circa has a near-perfect small-neighborhood atmosphere that helps me decompress and enjoy myself. I especially like sitting at the bar (wine & beer only) and talking with whomever is nearby. The food is great too - I'm partial to the meatloaf (always a large portion...), but everything else is great too. Grade-A comfort food. more

A great neighborhood eatery 4/18/2005

This little place is our favorite for brunch on the weekend - with or without the kids, it is always delicious and doesn't break the bank. They have good coffee, your standard american dishes but with a little twist here and there - plus, their wait staff are good with kids, and the atmosphere is casual. I love the eggs benedict with homemade hollandaise, none of that powdered stuff! The prices are reasonable and the location is great too. If you go a little earlier than the after-church crowd, you can avoid having too long of a wait. more
