My friend had been raving about Cinetopia. We decided to see ""Coraline"" in 3D. However, the nearest theater to us where it was playing in 3D was Cinetopia. I figured I'd see what my friend had been raving about. \r

When we got there they were having problems with the ticket machine in the booth. We were told we could buy them at the concession counter. One stop shopping - great! We ordered a small soda, a next up from the small popcorn, a box of Junior Mints, and a box of chocolate covered almonds - and two 3D matinee tickets.\r
\r
The guy at the counter said, ""That'll be $41.00"". My wife said, ""You're kidding, right?"" He said, ""No, it's $41.00"". \r
\r
Okay, the tickets were $10.75 apiece - that leaves $19.50 for the popcorn, candy, and small drink. \r
\r
Should we ever go up there again for a movie I think we'll skip the concessions. I think eating in the restaurant would have been cheaper.
Pros: Comfortable seating - unobstructed view
Cons: total cost was an unpleasant surprise
