Cincinnati Nails

I really rate this place as a ZERO, this was my first time there to get SNS, first I felt rushed they seem to care more about getting you in and out to take the next person numbers is the only thing that matter not quality, the nail tech had no idea how to do SNS, everyone who has had SNS knows to the simple fast way to remove it is to wrap your fingers in foil with a acetone cotton ball around it. The nail tech had me sit my nails in a bowl of acetone the he got drill happy and cut me way too many times to count. I thought I would try Cincinnati Nails because it was close to my house NEVER again. They cant do pedicures they rush the job you leave feeling like you never got a pedi and the prices are redundant. NEVER again will I go to Cincinnati nails Ladies if you are looking for quality then this place is not for you more

I've been going to this salon for at least 15+ years, had nails done by tech 6 days ago. After the first 3days, I had a chip. Went in, tech fixed, no charge. Now, today, I have another chip-went in to get fixed-lady told me (at 8:45pm) "Could you come back?,we don't have a tech available(busy). I said, No, because that will make it 3 trips to the mall!...and about $50 later! The problem is they are very thin-usually they are thicker. I just want my nails re:done(thicker) or I will be more than happy to go some where that I am appreciated! I would've been happy with the repair being done-would only take 5mins! more

t in for a simple acrylic fill in. Equipment was broken. Didn't fully cover my nail with acrylic. When painting the white tip got paint all over my fingers and didn't remove it. Top coat was rough after it dried and when I complained she said she was already with another client and couldn't fix it. 2 of my nails broke the next day. I went to get them repaired at another salon and my tech said my nails were so damaged by the last tech that I should remove them and let them heal. Avoid this place at all costs. Nails 11 in White Oak is a much better alternative. more

All i can say is unprofessional u tell him what u want he do what he want my nails was filed to death and left with out doing my fill in right more

Will never go back here again!!!!! I felt as if they didn't want to service me. But they smiled and sent me with someone who didn't know what they were doing! Toe nails wasn't even polished correctly. I'd rather go to local neighboring salon you get better service more

I have gone to this place many times to Bao. And he is awesome. Tonight I went to nail tech 8..and she was absolutely terrible. She was rude, she rolled her eyes at me, and after she was finished she didn't ask if I liked them and they are messed up. I'm getting married intel days and I just spent $45 on a terrible service. more

I've gone here, and they do a good job. It's very offensive, however, when the workers chatter to one another in Vietnamese while the customer is right there. Poor public relations - make your customer feel welcome and valued, not like they are imposing on your time. more

I've been going to this nail salon for about 10 years: For homecoming and prom to weddings and I always leave with a smile on my face. The workers do not always speak english and some have very poor english but when you look inside the salon- you should be prepared for that going in. I'm there to relax and pamper myself... as long as they do a good job on my nails they can speak whatever they want. This is a great salon, I'd go here over Mitchell's any day! more

I was going out of town and wanted to get my nails & toes done. My toes turned out great but I got the schlack for my nails and the guy must have been new and he did a horrible job on my nails. He had to redo them twice and they still are horrible. I called to report it the manager "Tyler" was no help and did not give good customer serivce. If you get someone make sure they are licensed & are not new. I understand they are new and have to learn but not on my expense especially if I'm going out of town. more

I came to this place for my homecoming because it was in a convenient place. The guy doing my nails kept texting while doing my nails. I just wanted a white tip but it turned out to be horrible. He left nail glue behind my index fingernail. And the next day I woke up and my nails turned antique white and I don't know how. A few days later my nails just started popping off. Never again! Go to Lee nails in Norwood , they're cheaper and way better. more

I believe some of the workers here are not licensed to do nails. And I don't believe they are allowed to use razors to peel dead skin off the feet. From what I understand, Razor treatment on your callus grows back faster and thicker. The more you do razor treatment, the often you come back to get rid of the callus. Also, the State Board does not allow Razors to be use due to safety of customers. Bacteria and infections can be caused from unclean razors and ripped skin. Failure to comply can result in fines and suspension/revoke of license.My friend has informed me of this and I was appalled that this place does that. I also don't think they should speak in their native language while doing my nails. Its rude and unprofessional. I say this because my boyfriend is Vietnamese and I do understand what "Map" is which is "fat lady" If the workers were talking about me and my friend, I surely don't appreciate hearing that from them. I highly suggest that you find another place to that is licensed, professional and friendly. more

my teenage daughter went here to have her nails done for prom, never again!!! they were very rude to her and did a horrible job, the polish did not even cover the entire nail. we went back the next day and they would do nothing saying their work is not guarenteed. the manager did nothing and would not listen to our complaint saying they spent an hour with her and if she was not happy then she should have said something, my feeling is that they seen a teenage girl come in and took advantage of the situation. This is not worth the money and for everyone to avoid this horrible place!!! more

Good: nice. Bad: quality of work-very poor. Improvements: stand behind their work. Other: I had gel nails put on and I am not happy, air bubble and not finished on the side. The manager said we dont guarantee. Quality poor. I will not go back. more

Good: Massage, but pedi cure took one hour and 35 minutes and four different nail techs.. Bad: The fact that it took 1hr 35min and 4 techs. I didn't have time to get my nails done and I now have to squeeze that into an already busy day tomorrow.. Improvements: When you technician does and bad job and it takes the 3 other techs to correct it and you are late for an appointment they should compensate the client in some way.. Other: I have gone to Cinti Nails for 15 yrs and never complained. When I talked to Tyler he was not helpful in any way. Only concern we I said I was not going to pay was "I pay her and I get no money?" I said don't pay her she did and bad job and it took three other people to get it right. He refused to let us leave without paying. Finally he gave us $5.00 off. Any other business person would have apologized and not charged for such poor service. I suggest you go elsewhere for any special occasions.. more

Tyler the supposed owener/mngr. is very rude,, if you have a problem you may as well forget getting any thing resolved,, combination of the lack of english and caring about there customers,, they do not need to give good customer service because people continue to put up with it ,, because it is cheap.. I agree they do a good job and have reasonable prices. There is seldom much f a wait. However, I find it offensive when the technicians speak to each other in Vietnamese when one of them is doing my nails. It's probably nothing special, but I always feel they are talking about me. Besides, it's just plain rude. more

I went to this salon regularly for more than 8 years and never had a problem. There are 2 locations in the Northgate mall-they had to expand when business got busy! The technicians are all foreign, and sometimes their English isn't so good, but they all do a great job. The owners are very friendly and make conversation with the regular customers. They also have less turnaround with the technicians than many of the other salons I have visited, which is nice because then they know exactly what you like! Everyone always comments on how great my nails look. more
