Great clothing and better yet, staff who helped finid what looks great on me! 12/6/2006

The best part of Ciao Bella is the staff tries on everything so they know how it fits on different body types, which helps them pick out what looks great on me! They also have fun gift ideas for Christmas shopping! Pros: Melanie Nicole dresses and Lucky Jeans! Cons: At the end of the Southport shopping strip - but it's easier to park than further down the street more

Hits the mark for active lifestyle clothing! 12/4/2006

Ciao Bella Chicago is a shoppers delight! Friendly, knowledgeable personal helped me mix and match serveral items I would never have thought of myself. The store theme definitely suits anyone who is on the go. Very snappy shiek! Check out how the merchandise is displayed....very imaginative! Worth going out of your way to shop there! Pros: Ambience, popular brand names, outstanding service Cons: Location is at the end of the main street more

Best shop in Chicago 11/29/2006

I love this place! The store is beautiful and the clothes are awesome. The staff really knows their stuff and really helped a fashion idiot like me. They tell you what looks good on you and, more importantly, they don't hesitate to tell you what doesn't! Pros: Best looking shop in Chicago, best staff on Southport. more

Editorial
  • In Short
An old world vibe pervades this fashionable, functional boutique, thanks to distressed stucco walls, salvaged shelving for men and a windowpane fixture that houses women's clothing. Slate floors give way to a selection of upscale basics - from tees to trousers, workout clothing to dresses - all with an eye toward easy, breezy travel. James Perse polos and Gant button-downs are suitcase-savvy for men, while many women opt for wrinkle-free rayon-Lycra dresses from Melanie Nicole.
