Excellent food, decent delivery time. Will order again!

Worst

The food at Chutney's has been a great disappointment on the last three occasions I ate there. I love Indian food and live right around the corner so I keep going, each time hopi...

Chutney's--The buffet rocks 5/6/2006

I have very limited experience with Indian food, so don't know if it is authentic or not, but Chutney's is good for my palate. I like going there during the all you can eat lunch buffet. The service is really friendly, the manager rocks, and the curries are quite good. But remember, this is coming from a girl who doesn't really eat indian food. It's pretty cheap--somewhere around ten dollars a person. more

Best customer service & "Peas & Cheese" - worth becoming a loyal customer 4/30/2006

We know there is better Indian food on the east side or even on Roosevelt road and we know this is a "chain" but we've become quite fond of our little Chutney's in Wallingford. They make a killer Mata Paneer Tikka Masala (peas and cheese) and the staff (particularly the owner) is AWESOME. He really is so consistently nice and friendly that it makes us really feel like locals just stopping by. We called the other night to see if we could buy just the farmer's cheese, paneer, and he said, "My dear, there is a world of possibilities- I can give it to you fried, I can give it to you raw..." and when I explained that I was trying to make a Tikka Masala pizza he recommended the raw. When my husband went to pick it up, he refused to let us pay for it! TOP THAT. more

Comfortable and Clean 3/18/2006

Yazdi carries a lot flow-y, natural type clothing for women. The skirts, pants, and shirts they sell wear comfortable and looser on the body. They do not have a whole lot of sales but annual sales are a great time to stop by. My biggest concern is that you should follow the washing directions: if slow and cold, do so. You have been warned. more

Chutney's is a good place to go 8/13/2005

They offer ample free parking and the Bengali indian styled Indian food and the restaurant is good, yet not great. The staff is nice, the restaurant is clean, and it would be easy to become a regular there due to all the factors mentioned above. It seems like any time I find a good indian restaurant there is some overhanging issue that irks me. Chutneys is a good place to visit more

Pretty good Indian Food 7/14/2005

You couldnt ask for a better location in the charming Wallingford Center. It is an old gutted Elementary School building that has been converted into an upscale botique shopping area. They offer ample free parking and the Bengali styled Indian food and the restaurant is good, yet not great. The staff is nice, the restaurant is clean, and it would be easy to become a regular there due to all the factors mentioned above. It seems like any time I find a good indian restaurant there is some overhanging issue that irks me. Chutneys is a safe bet! more

The best Chicken Tikki Masala 5/17/2005

I just wanted everyone to know the best place to go for Chicken Tikki Masala. My husband and I dream about this place and drive all the way from West Seattle to eat here. We love the Naan bread as well dipped in the masala sauce. I haven't tried any other dish but I'm sure it would be just as good. We've been there about 8 times and we get the same thing everytime...Chicken Tikki Masala!! more
