i think this place is now called ella's hair salon. am i right? it has changed names a few times over the past few years, but it's basically the same place. they seem to provide a bunch of services for women such as hair stuff, manicure, pedicure, and other things. for men, they cut hair. i've gotten my hair cut there a few times with mixed results. the first time i went there, i got a great haircut; and i took a big risk because it was the week of my wedding. yesterday (almost 3 yrs later) i went n' the woman that cut my hair misunderstood me n' gave me a total buzz cut when i wanted a fade w/ some hair on top. oops. i felt bad that the woman looked like she felt so bad. however, she really should've given me a discount for her mistake. being the overly nice guy i am (i guess) i still gave her a tip. :-/ well, is this the same place? it's by st. john's, the famous hangout for silicon valley engineers. it's also by mission city deli. same place?
