We have been very loyal and very satisfied customers of Choy Le's for many, many years. Tom, their longtime waiter, is like a family member. The chef/owner of this small family run business has created wonderful and flavorful dishes, easily equal to those of his contemporaries in pricer Manhattan Chinese eateries. However, recently, we've noticed that their generally wonderful/great tasting: ""Barbecued Spare Ribs,"" were surprisingly dry, rubbery and off-tasting; and, this was not the only time we've experienced this favorite menu item, over the last several months. We mentioned our concerns immediately with the chef's wife, but as of this review, this ""problem"" seems to re-occur, unresolved. We suspect that these spare ribs had been ""re-cycled"" from their previous lunch menu---which is totally unacceptable, and a health risk to customers. Needless to say, we are greatly sadened, with these infrequent bad culinary experiences, since the rest of their menu is generally fresh, flavorful and well done. Please ""CHOY LE,"" don't spoil, an otherwise, great tasting food experience, with apparently ""dated/re-cycled"" food...
