Chinatown Market is a decent place to go for your basic Asian groceries. The Chinese vegetables (bok choy, Chinese broccoli, on choy, lotus root, etc) are generally fresh, but as with other grocery stores, sometimes you'll be stuck looking at produce that should have been removed from the shelf several days prior. The store itself is small, but it is comparatively cleaner than the other Asian grocery stores in the area. However, go to the market knowing what you want - good customer service is not a prerequisite of employment. Bonus points for the free parking lot that you can park at while shopping at the store. However, the "parking monitor" is rather strict - he'll threaten to tow your car if you even make a gesture of walking across the street.
